The K&F Concept X-Pro Square ND8 filter is a neutral-density filter designed for the X-Pro Square filter holder system. It reduces exposure by 3 stops, allowing for a longer shutter speed or a wider aperture. A longer shutter speed can create motion blur in rivers, waterfalls, and clouds, while a wider aperture offers greater control over depth of field and bokeh, helping the subject stand out from the background.
Made from AGC optical glass, it features a 28-layer multicoating for high light transmission without a color cast. The coating reduces reflections and ghosting and protects against water, oil, dust, minor scratches, and abrasions. The protective frame has large tabs for easy installation and removal from the X-Pro holder.
