The X-Pro Square ND1000 filter from K&F Concept is designed for the X-Pro Square filter holder system. The filter measures 100 x 100mm and reduces exposures by 10 stops, allowing for an increase in either exposure time or lens aperture. Increasing the exposure time helps create motion in the image, such as when smoothing rivers, waterfalls, and clouds while capturing landscapes. Increasing the aperture allows for the use of wider apertures for finer control of depth of field, making it easier to enhance bokeh to isolate a subject from the background.

Made from high-quality optical glass, it features 28 layers of multi-coating for optimal light transmission without adding color casts. The coating also protects the filter from water, oil, minor scratches, and wear. It has a protective frame with large slots that facilitate installation and removal from the X-Pro filter holder system.
