The generation of Resistance lived and acted with the expectation of a future social happiness. Amid the personal and the political, the individual and the collective interest, it prioritized the greater good.

The most significant and dynamic emergence of women in the Resistance occurs precisely during the bloodiest phase of the Occupation. This is the period when organizations adopt mobilizations and demonstrations exclusively carried out by women as a means of struggle. In this phase, squads of female partisans are formed, and women take on dangerous or male duties.
