Super Kernel is a white and grainy basmati rice with a distinctive aroma, floral note, and characteristic Asian flavor. It is an ideal rice for pilaf!

It is one of the healthiest types of rice, as it has a lower glycemic index and fewer calories compared to others. It is almost fat-free and one serving has only about 200 calories. Unlike some other rice grains, it has a higher amount of fiber. Ideal rice for dieting, rich in nutritional elements and low in sodium and calories.

Its preparation is particularly easy.

  • 1. A quick rinse to remove excess starch
  • 2. Optionally sauté with a little oil for a few seconds to make it fluffy and bring out its nutty character.
  • 3. Simmer in water or broth, with a ratio of 1 rice to 2 water

    Excellent aromatic rice. Super Kernel is one of the best Basmati with extremely long and aromatic grains.

    In general, Basmati has a lower glycemic index (between 50 and 58) compared to other rice varieties (e.g. Jasmine, which has 89 and above), making it preferable for people with diabetes. This does NOT apply to "instant" products.
