It enhances the sound quality of any speaker it is paired with, providing greater range and more bass, while avoiding becoming too overpowering or drowning out the rest.
For me, it would be a perfect upgrade if you have a Beam or Ray soundbar, as there will be a noticeable difference, but not if you have an Arc. I believe that the original Sub would cover you better in that case. Of course, I'm not saying that it is a bad match with an Arc. Don't be fooled by the "Mini" in Sub Mini, it is too good to be considered just a mini version because it doesn't have a noticeable difference compared to the Sub Gen3. It is perfect for small to medium-sized rooms and it really doesn't bother you outside of the house.
