I got the comfort 550 duo on 5/1/2026,
The purpose was to replace gigaset as180 devices (2 handsets on one base) that have been working flawlessly since 2008. In the last few months, they started having problems.
I disconnect the old base and plug in the new one.
I register the old handset (as180) to the new base (comfort 550).
I copy the contacts from the old handset (in Greek, please) to the 2 new ones (!).
Ready!
In terms of range, it works just like the old gigaset. I am on the 2nd floor and the handsets reach down to the ground floor.
Continuing my search regarding the capabilities of the comfort 550, I did the following setup:
I disconnected them from the factory base (put it back in its box...) and bound them to the comote fiber router I have. Both handsets work perfectly! I kept only the small base which is just a charger, and I use the handsets alternately. While one is charging, I use the other.
Conclusion: Get it!

Ο σκοπός ήταν να αντικαταστήσει συσκευες gigaset as180 (2 φορητά σε μία βαση) που δουλεύουν αδιαμαρτύρητα από το 2008. Τους τελευταίους μήνες αρχισαν να κάνουν προβλήματα.
Αποσυνδεω την παλιά βάση και βαζω την καινούργια.
Δηλώνω το παλιό φορητό (as180) στην καινούργια βαση (comfort 550).
Αντιγράφω τα contacts απο το παλιό φορητό (στα ελληνικά παρακαλώ) στα 2 καινούργια (!).
Ετοιμος!
Απο εμβελεια πάει οπως και το παλιό gigaset. Βρίσκομαι στον 2ο όροφο και τα φορητά πιάνουν μέχρι το ισόγειο.
Σε συνέχεια της αναζήτησης μου σχετικα με τις δυνατότητες της comfort 550, εκανα το εξής setup:
Τα αποσύνδεσα απο την εργοστασιακή βάση (την εβαλα στο κουτί της...) και τα εκανα bind στο router fiber της comote που έχω. Και τα 2 φορητά δουλεύουν κανονικα! Κράτησα μόνο την μικρή βάση που είναι μόνο φορτιστής, και δουλεύω τα φορητά εν αλλαξ. Οσο φορτίζει το ένα χρησιμοποιω το άλλο.
Συμπερασμα: Πάρτε το!

Very good landline phone! For what it offers, it is worth it and more!
It is better for someone to spend 110 euros and get 2 good devices that communicate with each other and without strong radiation due to ECO DEC. Even with a wired connection, it is much better!
Compared to a wireless phone for 30 euros from a well-known company, it is 10 levels above!!

Καλύτερα να δώσει κάποιος 110 ευρώ και να πάρει 2 καλές συσκευές όπου επικοινωνούν μεταξύ τους και χωρίς δυνατή ακτινοβολία λόγω ECO DEC. Ακόμα και με σταθερά καλωδίου είναι πολύ καλύτερα!
Σε σχέση με ένα ασύρματο με 30 ευρώ γνωστής εταιρίας , είναι 10 επίπεδα παραπάνω!!

Δεν έχουν ανταπόκριση μεταξύ τους τα τηλέφωνα. Σε μεζονέτα με 2 ορόφους είναι απαραίτητο και για αυτόν τον λόγο το αγόρασα. Αν απαντήσεις σε κλήση από την μία συσκευή η άλλη είναι νεκρή. Το προηγούμενο (panasonic υπήρχε η δυνατότητα).
Τα καλά : Έγχρωμη οθόνη, δυνατός ήχος, ελληνικό μενού.

Αυτό το ζευγάρι ασύρματου τηλεφώνου τα σπάει. Είναι μια χαρά. Υπόψιν η δεύτερη συσκευή δεν χρειάζεται να μπει σε τηλεφωνική πρίζα απλά μόνο στο ρεύμα.
