  • Let it be, guys, it did the job well. Look at how the preheating had become, and it handled it easily

The square of the extractors is 3/8"!!!
That means you will need a 3/8" ratchet 99% of the time.
For the information of all the inexperienced, the ratchets that are commonly used daily are either 1/4" or 1/2"...
What happened to me: on a stuck hex screw 8mm, the regular socket (hexagonal and not with multiple positions which is more vulnerable) spun and "shaved" the head. The extractor from the 8mm set just spun wildly without being able to "grab" the damaged remainder and unscrew it...(it had way too much play)
    The 7mm wouldn't even fit!
In simple terms, THEY DO NOT do their job!
Maybe they were intended for the American market (after all, inside the box they are numbered in inches and in millimeters...
    Thank you for your patience.

Well guys, the screw you see in the photo was on the front brake caliper of a motocross bike that I have. It was in bad condition, with a rounded head, and the nut (size 10) couldn't grip it. It's an aluminum screw, and if you try to loosen it, it easily strips. I tried various methods with WD-40, with heat and WD-40, but nothing worked and the head just got worse. I was almost tempted to try a left-handed drill bit, but I decided to give this kit a chance. To tell you the truth, I didn't have high expectations. I thought it would just make the damage to the screw head worse. But surprise! It exceeded my expectations! I fitted the appropriate nut (size 10) onto the screw and gently tapped it a few times with a small hammer, and it fit perfectly. I used a wrench (3/4) and it loosened with the right amount of force. I highly recommend it! It's a yes from me! It has already paid for itself. Just make sure you have a replacement screw ready because if you use an extractor, it will damage the head quite a bit.

It flawlessly did its job on the burner screws of the grill that were screwed on for 5 years, had corroded and endured very high temperatures, having almost become one body.

It did the job very easily with a little attention on a completely ruined and soft biscuit - I wonder about the comments of many about similar kits that they don't work..
