Review this product
  • We have changed the way we operate at home. We are a family with 3 children, and the air fryer takes care of the vast majority of our daily meals. It is large enough to fit a 2 kg chicken, and potatoes underneath for 4 people, and they come out perfect. Especially with chicken, I am much more satisfied than with anything I have eaten at home. Meats are excellent, skewers are excellent, pizzas, even the toasts we make there. It fits 4 toasts, which become super crispy with butter without the cheese spilling out.

Essentially, air fryers are mini convection ovens, nothing more. That is, an air oven which, due to its smaller size, achieves noticeable electricity savings and direct heat targeting. For me, air fryers with an oven-style door like this one have a clear advantage over the drawer type because you have direct visual contact with the cooking process. Also, a huge advantage is that the accessories fit comfortably in the microwave, and VERY IMPORTANTLY, they do not contain non-stick coatings like Teflon, which are only a matter of time before they start to wear off and leak carcinogenic substances into the food (this was my main criterion to avoid the drawer types).

We also got a basket from elsewhere that attaches to the spit, and it’s amazing how well it makes French fries, chestnuts, and anything that benefits from constant stirring. But be careful, do not get a large diameter basket, because it will require more torque and if you overfill it, the gears inside the mechanism will wear out and it will jam. That’s what happened to me and I eventually had to replace it with my mother’s, who doesn’t use a basket. If I remember anything else, I will add it.
