The book "Man or Violin?" was written to familiarize both young and old with Cycladic sculptures and their relationship with Modern Art.
As can be seen from the title, the inspiration came from the questions and comments that children typically make when they first encounter "the marble figurines."
The "other perspective," namely the thoughts and works of famous artists such as Brancusi, Modigliani, Picasso, and many others, who since the early 20th century have been inspired by Cycladic Art, invite us to approach the Cycladic figurines with our own perspective and imagine a bridge between millennia.
