Creates a slightly rough surface enhancing the adhesion, filling, and homogenization of the substrate. It acts as an organic base primer in the certified external wall insulation system CLIMAWALL® according to EAD 040083-00-0404.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- SUBSTRATE – PREPARATION: The surface must be dry, clean, and free from dust, oils, salts, rust, friable paints, and residues. Any fungi, mold, and algae must be removed by mechanical sanding, washing with soapy water, and allowing the substrate to dry well.
- MIXING: No dilution of the product is needed. It is recommended to slightly stir the product before use and during application with a low-speed mechanical drill.
- APPLICATION: Apply ClimaTop® Primer in one layer using a roller or brush and allow it to dry for at least 4 hours before applying the final decorative plaster.
- CLEANING: Tools should be cleaned immediately after use with warm water and soap or with a detergent solution. Remove as much material as possible from tools before cleaning.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- ClimaTop® Primer must be tinted in the shade of the final plaster.
- Stir the product before use and at regular intervals during application.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C as well as at humidity levels over 65%.
- Full drying time is 24 hours at a temperature of 25°C and relative humidity of 50%.
- Surface drying time is 4 hours at 25°C and relative humidity of 50%.
