Tradesor No. 62 snow socks fit the drive wheels of passenger cars and are intended for use on snow or ice. They are quiet while driving and should not be used on dry or dirt roads.
The maximum driving speed on snow is 40 km/h. The package includes 2 pieces.
Overall, the feedback is positive, with users particularly appreciating the affordable price and relatively easy installation. They are also considered useful in winter conditions and handy to keep in the car. However, several users question their durability or report tears and fit issues; many have not tested them in practice.
They were bought to have in case of an inspection. However, I don't think they're worth it, even though I haven't tried them, they don't inspire confidence
I bought them to comply with the legal requirement. The truth is that I didn't wear them. However, they are the most economical solution to avoid the fine.
I haven't used them yet. The reason they were purchased is based on the new law that states they must be in the car during certain winter months. They are completely fake, the material is terrible and I am sure that in case of an emergency they will be destroyed after a few kilometers. If you are actually going to the snow, they definitely won't do, and you should definitely get something of better quality.
I bought them so that they wouldn't write me off and I searched for the cheapest ones. I didn't install them. Definitely, if I want to go to the snow, I will go for better quality
While the set was purchased based on indications of suitability for my wheels and tires, the product fit so loosely on the wheel that the first cover came off.
I have used similar products before, I know. However, their measurements are incorrect. Each cover is supposed to fit for around 20 combinations of wheel/tire sizes, but the reference to my combination was wrong, as it fit loosely or not at all.
I recommend the material, it is definitely durable and it definitely had grip, but something is not right with their measurements or it just happened to me.
From what it seems, it has a CE marking that some have questioned. It is not perfect sewing, but for the intended job, I believe it will get the job done. Keep in mind that every item has usage limits. Those who complain probably don't read the instructions, which are clear, and don't pay attention during the use of the item. For the money it is offered, the quality-to-price ratio (VFM) is perfect.
I don't have an opinion yet as they were just purchased and have never been tested. Their construction seems to be of good quality, but practice will show. A suitcase or gloves are not included, just a cardboard box. Also, I have no experience with snow blankets because I have always had traditional chains. I give them 5 stars and will reconsider once I actually try them.
