    Positives:
    - After about 1 year, there are no issues.
    - You forget to charge it.

    Negatives:
    - Good luck with installation. There is a lot of extra unnecessary cable that is difficult to arrange inside the helmet, and it is not detachable.
    - In the city, the mesh sometimes has interference when the co-rider is wearing it. I don't know what happens if the second person is on another bike and a few meters behind.
    - It doesn't have music sharing, which is tragic for a set over €300.

One is installed on a Shoei NXR2 - the microphone isolates external noises and others can't tell you're on the move. Overall, excellent.

The second is installed on an Airoh - with the earbud microphone, you have to shout for it to pick up your voice, the boom microphone picks up the wind and makes noise. Whatever I've tried, I haven't managed to make it work properly.

Overall, in my opinion, it's not worth its money, nor as a purchase in general.

3 years later it works perfectly and the battery definitely lasts 1+ day, with all-day use. Good sound, good connectivity with Android, connectivity with corresponding technology intercoms for trips (mesh)

I give it 3/5 for the following reasons.

    Let's go to the positives.

    - Excellent microphone, very good settings so that wind noise is minimized, making it easy when talking on the phone or another intercom.

    - Very nice headphones. Some people complain, but I would say they are just right. This way, you can stay focused while driving. They keep you company whether with music, talking on the phone, or using GPS. You hear everything!

    - Practical and comfortable buttons and shortcuts.

Now let's move on to the negatives.

    - THE CABLE DOES NOT COME OUT! Is that even possible? It is permanently attached to the helmet once it's in. The difference with the ST1 is that the ST1 has a connector and it is DETACHABLE! Is it possible that the cable cannot be removed!

    - For the price, it has very few functions compared to other intercoms! For example, it doesn't have music sharing.

    - The connection is mainly via mesh. If someone has Bluetooth, good luck. It becomes a patchwork of patches, so it's a waste of effort. And if the connection is lost, you cry.

I believe that 3/5, if not 2/5, is fair for what you pay. Personally, I am disappointed because I didn't have the right info, so I wouldn't have bought it to spend a lot of money (relative to what I am buying), so I leave this info here to help the next person! Ride safe, guys!

  • With the two-device kit on a trip with two motorcycles, the sound is very good and the communication is stable both in the city and out of it; you can hear quite decently even on the highway at 120-130. In private mesh, it connects easily with the press of a button initially, and even if it loses the signal, it comes back immediately. The battery lasts incredibly long. I have it permanently on my helmet now. Be careful that the intercom works with mesh, which makes it reliable, but it will not connect with other cheaper ones that only work with Bluetooth.

First of all, I have to say that no matter which communication you choose, you will experience a completely different experience on the bike. As for this one, I have been using it almost daily for 6 months now and I have a complete opinion:

    • The battery will never bother you. Mainly I listen to music so I forget to charge it. But even in communication with another rider, it holds up well.
    • Its size, as seen in the photo, is neither big nor small. It is not bothersome but it seems like there is a slight bulge on the helmet. The weight is negligible.
    • The speakers have quality and powerful sound, BUT as I expected at highway speeds or on rural roads with open air vents and windshield, you forget about bass and quality as the air does not allow it. As for the microphone, it isolates noise very well. I have noticed this when talking to others as they think I am at home and not on the bike.
    • The functions it has make driving easier and offer an even more enjoyable experience.
    • When riding in the rain, do not worry at all. I have ridden many times in heavy rain and nothing happened at all.
    • Updates or settings are done via computer and not through a mobile app, so the practicality and ease in this matter are not ideal.
    • The last comment concerns intercom with other riders. On a highway or rural road with a distance of about 100-200 meters between the two bikes, everything is fine, there is no issue. In the city, at a distance of over 50 meters, forget about communication with the other rider. The same applies to turns in the mountains.
Conclusion: For this money, I expected something more in terms of effective communication distance with another rider in the city or on rural roads with turns, but also an easier update and settings process. However, this does not mean that I regret the purchase or cannot live with these shortcomings. If you cannot find an intercom that can offer something more for this money (or an extra 40-50€), then choose this one. Otherwise, the more demanding ones should prefer models of 250+.

P.S.: The difference between the RT1 and ST1 is only the jog dial, which personally does not suit me at all with gloves, I prefer the 3 buttons. Also, the waterproofing on the RT1 is better because it has buttons and not a jog dial.

Enjoy your rides and I hope I clarified some questions for those looking for an intercom!
