The recent, with law 3994/25.7.2011, extensive procedural reform, made necessary the new edition of the Code of Civil Procedure and the Code of Organization of Courts and Status of Judicial Officers. In this new edition, the format and logic of the previous edition were followed in the basic lines. The provisions modified by law 3994/2011 are displayed in italics. At the same time, for the assistance of the user, the provisions of recent laws that have modified them are also mentioned at the bottom of the modified provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, as well as their transitional provisions. The lemma indexes have of course been restructured. Finally, it was deemed appropriate to include in this edition the explanatory memorandum of law 3994/2011, in order to provide a clearer picture of the scope and perspective of the new regulations.
