An excellent product from Apple, which you cannot appreciate its usefulness unless you buy it. It works perfectly in 100% of cases, and with a quick search on YouTube you can find the best settings to fully utilize the device. Remote from the iPhone, direct connection with AirPods which means you can enjoy whatever you want without disturbing the person next to you, support for all major IPP (HDR10+, Dolby Vision + Atmos), incredibly fast and iOS user interface. There are no words, guys, I watch everything through the SwipTV app as I use internet TV, to give you an idea, I got a new TCL with Google TV OS and I have no idea what its UI looks like since I never leave the Apple TV for anything. Definitely a premium product but honestly, in my case, I feel it is worth the money every day. Finally, I should mention that the software gets frequent updates and it is a big plus that the major foreign VPNs are fully supported by the app.

If the device gets old, it will go to the vacation house and the newer version will be purchased!

I have had it for about six months and it has saved me. Specifically, I needed it for a very specific reason and not to show off at home that it is an Apple device. Simply put, even though my 50-inch TV is relatively new, its smart features were terrible, with frequent freezes, disconnections, etc. So, instead of getting rid of it, because it has good picture quality, I thought of this alternative, since I also have an iPhone. I do not regret it... Incredibly fast, the device itself is sleek and high-quality, it does not heat up with use, it is minimalistic. The software, being Apple, is very clean, understandable, and fast. The remote control, although small, has all the necessary functions and I have come to love it, I don't want to go back to the conventional ones that TVs have. Now, the picture quality is incredible with a good HDMI cable, 4K, 60 FPS HDR. You don't need anything more, Netflix & Apple TV, plus you can use AirPlay from your mobile phone, like EON TV & COSMOTE TV, it displays them clearly, with resolution, no extra fuss. Of course, it is a prerequisite to have a good network connection at home. As for the sound, because I have also purchased 2 HomePod Minis, I have turned my living room into a mini cinema, with incredible sound-image synchronization and instant connection. What would I like? To have more applications in the Apple TV App Store, as I mentioned earlier, like EON TV & COSMOTE TV, so that I don't have to rely on my mobile phone. I don't know if it's an issue with the respective application companies or if it's Apple's fault, but I mention it as a minor negative. Is it worth buying? If you have a TV with a bad smart feature, which is the case for many, but it has good picture quality and you don't want to throw it away, then yes, it's worth it. Now, if you have a €1,000 TV, a 2023 model, then it probably isn't worth it.

So the device was purchased for the following reason:
My TV was not so new, so as an iPhone user, I couldn't do screen mirroring to enjoy whatever I wanted since my TV doesn't have airplay, and the only thing I could have was the pre-installed Netflix and YouTube.
However, I have subscriptions to other applications such as Disney+ and Spotify, applications that I couldn't access through my TV.
So I bought this little box.
This little thing works wonders, and only someone who has almost a complete Apple ecosystem will fully appreciate it.
It connects with AirPods, which means that when I have someone sleeping, I can watch my favorite series quietly and nicely on my TV.
The picture and sound are amazing, especially if you connect it to external devices like a home cinema or AirPods, etc.
I have no complaints, and I don't think there will be any. It doesn't lag, it doesn't freeze, it has made a 16-inch TV look like a 23-inch with its interface.
For now, I am very satisfied, and if I notice anything, I will return to fix it.

PLEASE NOTE: Because it is Apple, many people will not be able to connect to pirate streaming platforms for security reasons, etc., so if you are only interested in something like that, do not buy it

I bought it to revitalize a 2017 smart TV in the living room, which has a very nice panel but the apps (especially Plex and Disney+) were very slow. It achieved my goal 100%!

- First of all, it controls the TV (which I didn't know, it was a pleasant surprise). So you can adjust the volume and turn it on/off without using the TV control at all.
- It has many applications through the app store and you can use it as a smart hub for Apple Home - I saw with interest the Apple Fitness+ which doesn't seem to be available in Greece yet (May 2023).
- The UI is very nice and fast, it has Netflix, Amazon, Plex, Spotify, and of course all the Apple services, which work perfectly and very quickly.
- You can display the image from all Apple devices and laptops.
- The control has touch and is very user-friendly, and you can also use Siri in English (e.g. open Netflix).
- You can use any iPhone or iPad as a control and also for typing.
- If you want to use another control, such as the TV's, it can learn it and work with it (simultaneously with its own).

I recommend it, for me it was worth it as a purchase (€189 for the version with ethernet), considering that I was satisfied with my TV's panel and I just wanted better performance in the menus, seeking, etc. It also helped significantly that I uninstalled all the apps (except for live TV) from the TV, now it opens and closes immediately.

We are talking about the strongest boxing in the world, but what good is it if you have, for example, a helicopter without a propeller? This opinion is temporary, if something changes and I find solutions, I will come back. They (Apple) may do it for personal security reasons since they have a streaming channel... but why should I care, since I am getting it for boxing to install my program StbemuPro (which works perfectly on iPad with VPN) which I assume those who deal with such things know that it needs VPN for some providers (let's not mention names) so that there are no interruptions!!!! if you get it just to watch Netflix and such, I assume it's too expensive since you can do your job just fine with a Xiaomi for 50 euros or 80 euros with a mecool from China which is best for value... it does not have USB ok what did I know if you want to watch movies as others have said here, you can connect a hard drive to your router (if it has one, which most do nowadays) to load the movies... I said at the beginning it's a temporary rating because I have a Fritz router that supports virtual VPN which I am trying to activate, it's not so easy for me sometimes without succeeding... basically it does not have a browser... can someone tell me what it has?? come on... it takes a lot of work to make use of this boxing the way I want and if I manage to, I am dealing with it because I regret the money I spent... seen.

Additionally, the Tailscale app enhances remote access and management capabilities for the home network, given that Apple TV now supports VPNs!!!
