Anti-skid chains are placed on the drive wheels of the car, either at the front or the back, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered with snow and ice. Installing them is relatively easy, but it is necessary to have tried them in advance to be familiar with their installation.
An important criterion when choosing snow chains, apart from the compatible size of our tire, is the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Typically, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective traction and better penetration into the snow compared to the "thinner" diameter chains.
Their installation is not recommended for lowered passenger vehicles or vehicles with low-profile tires.
