Description

Description

It uses less energy compared to other types of cooktops and cooking time is halved. Cleaning it is very easy, as the area around the cookware remains cool. A necessary condition for this type of cooktop is that the cookware must be compatible with induction cooktops, meaning made of stainless steel or cast iron. Its operation is autonomous, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. It can be placed anywhere in the kitchen.

The control for selecting the desired temperatures and settings is done digitally and via touch. All options are located at the bottom of the cooktop and are integrated into the surface.

It also features a child safety lock, which ensures that the cooktop will not be accidentally activated. By pressing the lock button, all functions are disconnected. The cooktop can be unlocked by pressing the button again for a few seconds.

    Very weak as mentioned elsewhere, it needs to operate at 8-9, I don't know why levels 1-6 exist. I haven't managed to get the 28cm burner to light up yet. I just bought it, and I'm thinking of replacing it :-(

    This cooktop replaced a Midea MIH740T135K0 that turned out to be very defective immediately after purchase because it burned out the large coils and the circuit board.

    Compared to the Midea, it is MUCH weaker, and compared to an induction cooktop from Lidl SilverCrest SDI 3500 for €60 with two burners that exists, it is equivalent even though it is supposed to have burners of greater power! That is, the Bosch has power ONLY at 9; below 9 it CANNOT boil a pot of water, and the manual states that you start at 8.5 to 9 and then boil at 7-8, as for the lower levels 1-6, they barely melt butter. The Midea easily boiled water at 7, and the levels made proportional sense.

    Other than that, it does its job, but nothing special, especially for the additional €120 we paid to return the Midea and get the Bosch.
