An amazing router! Easy to install even for someone who doesn't know much. Its construction seems to be of good quality. It is stable for simple home use but especially for gaming (PS5). You can set up static IPs through the TP-Link page as well as open ports for specific games. Through the TP-Link app, Tether, you can set up WiFi passwords, get weekly updates on usage, see new devices connecting to the router, and block unwanted ones... There is a parental control feature under the family section with schedules and days so that kids don't watch YouTube and other apps for too long, or you can block them completely! You can control it remotely and from home. In the settings, there is a command called QoS that asks you to enter your correct download and upload speed so you can give high priority to any device you want, not just one. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly or stably—when I activated it, it even dropped my total speed to 200 Mbps! (I have 1000) I had many disconnections on the PS5 due to unstable speed, so personally, I turned it off and everything was fine. You get notified about your router's updates and can install them. What impresses me the most is the very strong 5 GHz WiFi it has with its six antennas! Whatever stable speed I get with a cable, I get the same with WiFi, though the device also plays a role... It really is worth the 108€ I paid, it's a good investment.
Ενα ρουτερ καταπληκτικο! Ευκολο στην εγκατασταση ακομη και για καποιον που δεν γνωριζει πολλα. Η κατασκευη του φαινεται ποιοτικη. Ειναι σταθερο για απλη οικιακη χρηση αλλα ιδιαιτερα για gaming (PS5). Μπορεις να φτιαξεις μεσα απο την σελιδα της tp-link σταθερες ip οπως και να ανοιξεις πορτες για συγκεκριμενα games. Μεσα απο το app της tp-link το tether μπορεις να φτιαξεις τους κωδικους wifi να ενημερωνεσαι εβδομαδιαια για την χρηση τις συσκευες τις νεες που συνδεονται στο ρουτερ οπως και να μπλοκαρεις τις ανεπιθυμητες... Υπαρχει στον ορο οικογενεια γονικος ελεγχος με ωραριο και ημερες ωστε τα παιδια να μην βλεπουν youtube και αλλες εφαρμογες αρκετη ωρα ακομη και να τις μπλοκαρεις εντελως! Το ελεγχεις απομακρισμενα και απο το σπιτι. Στις ρυθμισεις υπαρχει μια εντολη που λεγεται QoS που σου λεει να αναγραψεις την σωστη ταχυτητα σου dawn κ upload και να μπορεσεις ετσι να δωσεις προτεραιοτητα υψηλη σε καποια συσκευη που θελειες εσυ οχι μονο σε μια. Δυστυχως δεν δουλευει σωστα μα ουτε και σταθερα οταν το ενεργοποιησα μου εριξε και την συνολικη ταχυτητα 200 mbps! (εχω 1000) Ειχα πολλες αποσυνδεσεις στο ps5 λογω ασταθης ταχυτητας, προσωπικα αυτο off και ολα καλα. Εχει να ενημερωνεσαι για τα απντειτ του ρουτερ σου και να τα εγκαταστησεις. Αυτο που μου κανει ιδιαιτερη εντυπωση το πολυ δυνατο wifi στα 5 ghz που εχει με τις εξι κεραιες του! Οτι πιανω σταθερα σε ταχυτητα το ιδιο εχω και με wifi, βεβαια παιζει ρολο και η συσκευη... Πραγματικα αξιζει τα 108€ που εδωσα ειναι μια καλη επενδυση.

For those who need to manage devices like IPTV, computers, phones with simultaneous LAN and WiFi use, then specialized management is needed, so that's when we start looking in detail at the specifications of our devices to find the right router. Note that there are also more economical routers that can fully meet the needs of an average user.
This router can cover all basic needs with slightly increased requirements, for a provider network up to 500Mbps.
I have a 1Gbps connection speed, using LAN & WiFi simultaneously, a computer, 2 floors with a TV box IPTV on each floor, an access point for one floor, and 6 to 8 phones. Generally, I am covered, but I see the speeds drop to half per device so the router can manage efficiently. The settings you make also play a role in achieving the best result, but that requires even more knowledge and I don't want to go into that. If we don't know, it's better to leave it to someone who does.

Εύκολη εγκατάσταση, με πολύ καλή πρώτη εντύπωση.
Εννοείται ότι μπαίνει ως δεύτερο μετά του παρόχου, είτε ως access point είτε ως κεντρικό DHCP, ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες, για να αναλάβει τη διαχείριση πολλαπλών συσκευών, διαφορετικών απαιτήσεων.
Η προσδοκία του μέσου χρήστη θα πρέπει να εστιάζει στην αποσυμφόρηση και ορθότερη διαχείριση του οικιακού δικτύου.
Καταρχήν για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν, καλό είναι να μην ενθουσιάζονται με τους αριθμούς και να δουν πρώτα τις ανάγκες που έχουν στην οικία τους σε ότι αφορά τις συσκευές που χρησιμοποιούν.
Αν μιλάμε για απαίτηση έως 4 η 5 τηλέφωνα με υποστήριξη WiFi 5 και κάτω δεν έχει νόημα να πάρεις εξειδικευμένο router, του παρόχου είναι αρκετό.
Για όσους έχουν να διαχειριστούν συσκευές όπως IPTV, υπολογιστές, τηλέφωνα με ταυτόχρονη χρήση LAN και WiFi, τότε χρειάζεται εξειδικευμένη διαχείριση οπότε εκεί αρχίζουμε να ψάχνουμε λεπτομερώς τις προδιαγραφές των συσκευών μας για να βρούμε το κατάλληλο router. Υπόψιν ότι υπάρχουν και ποιο οικονομικά router που μπορούν να καλύψουν πλήρως τις ανάγκες ενός μέσου χρήστη.
Αυτό το router μπορεί να καλύψει όλες τις βασικές ανάγκες με λίγο αυξημένες απαιτήσεις , για ένα δίκτυο παρόχου έως 500Mbps.
Εγώ που έχω 1Gbps ταχύτητα σύνδεσης, με χρήση ταυτόχρονα LAN & WiFi, υπολογιστή, 2 ορόφους με ένα Tvbox IPTV σε κάθε όροφο, ένα access point για τον ένα όροφο και 6 έως 8 τηλέφωνα, σε γενικές γραμμές είμαι καλυμμένος, ωστόσο βλέπω τις ταχύτητες να πέφτουν στα μισά ανά συσκευή προκειμένου το router να κάνει επαρκής διαχείριση. Παίζουν ρόλο και οι ρυθμίσεις που θα κάνεις ,για να πετύχεις το μέγιστο αποτέλεσμα , αλλά αυτό απαιτεί ακόμα περισσότερες γνώσεις και δεν θέλω να επεκταθώ ως εκεί. Αν δεν ξέρουμε καλύτερα να το αφήσουμε σε κάποιον που το κατέχει.
Θα επανέλθω μόνο για να συμπληρώσω πληροφορίες η αν προκύψει κάποιο πρόβλημα.

It is the best router, I have a connection simultaneously with Starlink and I see speeds that are out of this world for Greek standards and without fiber optic. A bit expensive but worth the money.

The router is a star, it works continuously for a year without any problem.

I will start by saying that I have never had a router in my hands over 25€.
For the past year, I was using an Archer C50 which was loaded with about a dozen smart devices, 2 mobile phones, and 2 computers. When trying to connect to WiFi on my mobile phone (iPhone 13), it was slow and took more than 10 seconds each time. Also, the speeds it provided were around 92-93 Mbps on a 100/10Mbps FFTH line.
As you can see in the photos, this one gives over 100 at night while during the day it drops to 97-98. Connecting devices to the network is really fast, and small glitches in apps like Instagram (stories not loading, for example) are gone. Videos on YouTube on both mobile and computer start immediately, and you never see the video loading graphic anymore. The network range, using only the router, in a long narrow house of 120 sq.m. is unreal (tested for 20-25 days in this specific area)...really no comparison to before.
The router is at one end of the house and the speed test you see in the photos is literally at the other end, 15 meters away, with only one wall in between. Speedtest on the mobile phone next to the router gives exactly the same result every time I ran it. In tests I did with 5 walls (2 rooms & kitchen) from the router, the speeds were around: 23 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up, which is very impressive for so many obstacles!
We are talking about a semi-professional router that could easily be used and trusted in a small business since it can handle up to 200 devices according to TP-Link.
I will come back to add any updates I have for this router in the future, as well as the results of using it in a stone house of 45 sq.m. this time, and always comparing it to the previous one I had (Archer C50 v6).
Soon I will move it to a new house with a 200 ftth line and will update the review with any new information I gather. However, so far it has proven to be a gem, I really love it.
Να ξεκινήσω λέγοντας πως δεν είχα ποτέ στα χέρια μου router άνω των 25€.
Τον τελευταίο χρόνο χρησιμοποιούσα ένα Archer C50 το οποίο είχε φορτωθεί με μια δεκαριά έξυπνες συσκευές, 2 κινητά και 2 υπολογιστές. Όταν άνοιγες στο κινητό (iPhone 13) το WiFi αργούσε να συνδεθεί και κάθε φορά ήθελε 10+ δευτερόλεπτα. Επίσης οι ταχύτητες που έδινε θα ήταν της τάξεως των 92-93 Mbps σε γραμμή 100/10Mbps FFTH.
Όπως θα δείτε και στις φωτογραφίες, το συγκεκριμένο δίνει παραπάνω από 100 τις νυχτερινές ώρες ενώ την ημέρα πέφτει στα 97-98. Η σύνδεση των συσκευών στο δίκτυο είναι πραγματικά αστραπιαία ενώ μικρά κολλήματα σε εφαρμογές τύπου Instagram (δεν φόρτωναν τα story για παράδειγμα) έφυγαν. Τα βίντεο στο YouTube τόσο στο κινητό όσο και στον υπολογιστή ξεκινάνε κατευθείαν και δεν βλέπεις ποτέ το γραφικό φόρτωσης του βίντεο πλέον. Η εμβέλεια του δικτύου, με χρήση μόνο του router, σε μακρόστενο σπίτι 120 τ.μ. είναι εξωπραγματική (γίνεται δοκιμή του για 20-25 ημέρες στο συγκεκριμένο χώρο)...πραγματικά καμία σχέση με πρίν.
Το router βρίσκεται στην μια άκρη του σπιτιού και το speed test που βλέπετε στις φωτογραφίες είναι κυριολεκτικά στην άλλη άκρη, στα 15 μέτρα απόσταση, με μόνο ένα τοίχο ενδιάμεσα. Speedtest του κινητού δίπλα στο router δίνει ακριβώς το ίδιο αποτέλεσμα οσες φορές και αν το έτρεξα. Σε δοκιμές που έκανα με 5 τοίχους (2 δωμάτια & κουζίνα) απο το router, οι ταχύτητες ανέρχονταν πάνω κάτω στα: 23 Mbps down και 3Mbps up που είναι πολύ αξιόλογες για τόσα εμπόδια!
Μιλάμε για έναν ημιεπαγγελματικό router που άνετα θα μπορούσε να αξιοποιήσει και να εμπιστευτεί κάποιος σε μια μικρή επιχείρηση μιάς και μπορεί να διαχειριστεί μέχρι και 200 συσκευές σύμφωνα με την TP-Link.
Θα επανέλθω να προσθέσω οτιδήποτε νεότερο έχω για το συγκεκριμένο router στο μέλλον καθώς και τα αποτελέσματα σε χρήση του σε πέτρινο σπίτι όμως στα 45 τ.μ. αυτή τη φορά και πάντα σύγκριση με το προηγούμενο που είχα (Archer C50 v6).
Σύντομα θα το μεταφέρω σε νέο σπίτι με 200 ftth γραμμή και θα ενημερώσω την αξιολόγηση με ότι νεότεορ συλλέξω. Πάντως μέχρι στιγμής έχει αποδειχθεί διαμαντάκι, πραγματικα το έχω λατρέψει.
I am very happy with this router. It is fast and stable for me and can handle a lot of items connecting to it at the same time - these days this is important because of household goods, lightbulbs, smoke alarms, air condition, everything talking to the router at once - not just phones and laptops. I get my internet over a SIM card (in a different router) so I have just connected the two routers together. The first router now JUST gets the internet and supplies it to the Archer AX73 by a cable, which then does all the WiFi connections. This works perfectly for me. Very happy with the result.
Coming from a Netgear Nighthawk R7000, I decided to replace it as it was almost a decade old and there were already WiFi 6 devices in the house with numerous streaming clients.
Positives:
- Installation was fairly quick (I used a computer instead of the app and didn't encounter any issues).
- Capabilities that will cater to a large percentage of users.
- Fast connection with WiFi 6 - I saw significant improvement on the TV with Google Chromecast with Google TV using Plex, Netflix, and Cosmote TV.
- Good range, plus it is supposed to connect with other TP-Link products for mesh (I haven't tested this).
Negatives:
- For anyone who wants to use the Parental Controls (e.g., shut off the child's internet after 12 midnight), they will have to pay a subscription fee of 5 to 6 euros per month, which is completely unacceptable.* Minus one star for greediness. I won't even bother mentioning what else this subscription offers as I consider it simply ridiculous. Google TP-Link HomeShield for information.
- There is no integration with Home Assistant, but I won't deduct a star due to its very specific case/use, so it would be unfair.
* You can blacklist the device and re-allow it through the menu.
Ερχόμενος από ένα Netgear Nighthawk R7000, είπα να το αντικαταστήσωμιας και πλέον κόντευε 10ετία χρήσης και ήδη εμφανίζονταν WiFi 6 συσκευές στο σπίτι με άπειρα streaming clients.
Θετικά:
- Εγκατάσταση αρκετά γρήγορη (χρησιμοποίησα υπολογιστή αντί του app και δεν αντιμετώπισα κανένα πρόβλημα)
- Δυνατότητες που θα καλύψουν ένα μεγάλο ποσοστό χρηστών.
- Γρήγορη συνδέση με WiFi 6 - είδα αρκέτη βελτίωση σε τηλεόραση με Google Chromecast with Google TV σε Plex, Netflix και Cosmote TV.
- Καλή εμβέλεια συν ότι υποτίθεται ότι συνδέεις και άλλα προιόντα TP-Link για να κάνεις mesh (δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει).
Αρνητικά:
- Για όποιον θέλει να χρησιμοποιήσει τα Parental Controls (πχ. κλείσε το ιντερνετ του παιδιού μετά τις 12 το βράδυ) θα πρέπει να πληρώσει συνδρομή 5 με 6 ευρώ τον μήνα το οποίο είναι επιεικώς απαράδεκτο.* Μείον ένα αστεράκι για την απληστία. Δεν θα μπω καν στον κόπο να πω τι άλλο προσφέρει αυτή η συνδρομή μιας και τα θεωρώ απλά αστεία. Γκουγκλάρετε TP-Link HomeShield για πληροφορίες.
- Δεν υπάρχει integration με Home Αssistant αλλά δεν βγάζω αστέρι λόγο της πολύ ειδικής περίπτωσης/χρήσης οπότε θα ήταν άδικο.
* Μπορείς να κάνεις blacklist την συσκευή και να την ξαναφήσεις μέσα από το μενού.
It took me about 10-15 minutes to install it (I am relatively unfamiliar with networks, etc.). I can say that before the package arrived, I had some doubts if I could do it myself, but ultimately, due to the application (on my mobile) and the instructions they provided, it was very informative and an easy process.
As for the rest, I got it because I wanted to make full use of the Wi-Fi's download and upload capabilities of the devices, as I use a lot of cloud services, either for sending videos from one device to another or for gaming, etc. I have a 100 Mbps connection and for so long, I was getting around 20-30 Mbps with the factory modem from the company. Now, I get 100 Mbps upload and 100 Mbps download. I feel like the whole house took a breath and the internet coverage expanded throughout the entire house. I have had it for about 1 month so far and I am very satisfied.
Μ πήρε περίπου 10-15 λεπτά να το εγκαταστήσω (είμαι σχετικά άσχετος με δίκτυα κτλ) μπορώ να πω ότι πριν μ έρθει το δέμα είχα κάποιες αμφιβολίες αν θα τα καταφέρω μόνος μ , αλλά εντέλει λόγο της εφαρμογής (στο κινητό) και τις οδηγίες που σ δίνουν ήταν κατατοπιστικότατοι και εύκολη διαδικασία .
Όσο για τα υπόλοιπα το πήρα γιατί ήθελα να αξιοποιώ το 100% του download και upload από το Wi-Fi των συσκευών γιατί χρησιμοποιώ πολύ cloud υπηρεσίες είτε για βίντεο να στέλνω από τη μια συσκευή στην άλλη είτε για gaming κτλ κτλ. Έχω 100άρα γραμμή και τόσο καιρό έπιανα περίπου 20-30 με το εργοστασιακό μόντεμ της εταιρίας , τώρα πιάνω 100upload - 100download , νιώθω ότι όλο το σπίτι πήρε μια ανάσα και επεκτάθηκε και η απόσταση που καλύπτει το Ίντερνετ σ όλο το σπίτι . Το έχω περίπου 1 μήνα μέχρι στιγμής είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος .

An amazing router! Easy to install even for someone who doesn't know much. Its construction seems to be of good quality. It is stable for simple home use but especially for gaming (PS5). You can set up static IPs through the TP-Link page as well as open ports for specific games. Through the TP-Link app, Tether, you can set up WiFi passwords, get weekly updates on usage, see new devices connecting to the router, and block unwanted ones... There is a parental control feature under the family section with schedules and days so that kids don't watch YouTube and other apps for too long, or you can block them completely! You can control it remotely and from home. In the settings, there is a command called QoS that asks you to enter your correct download and upload speed so you can give high priority to any device you want, not just one. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly or stably—when I activated it, it even dropped my total speed to 200 Mbps! (I have 1000) I had many disconnections on the PS5 due to unstable speed, so personally, I turned it off and everything was fine. You get notified about your router's updates and can install them. What impresses me the most is the very strong 5 GHz WiFi it has with its six antennas! Whatever stable speed I get with a cable, I get the same with WiFi, though the device also plays a role... It really is worth the 108€ I paid, it's a good investment.
Ενα ρουτερ καταπληκτικο! Ευκολο στην εγκατασταση ακομη και για καποιον που δεν γνωριζει πολλα. Η κατασκευη του φαινεται ποιοτικη. Ειναι σταθερο για απλη οικιακη χρηση αλλα ιδιαιτερα για gaming (PS5). Μπορεις να φτιαξεις μεσα απο την σελιδα της tp-link σταθερες ip οπως και να ανοιξεις πορτες για συγκεκριμενα games. Μεσα απο το app της tp-link το tether μπορεις να φτιαξεις τους κωδικους wifi να ενημερωνεσαι εβδομαδιαια για την χρηση τις συσκευες τις νεες που συνδεονται στο ρουτερ οπως και να μπλοκαρεις τις ανεπιθυμητες... Υπαρχει στον ορο οικογενεια γονικος ελεγχος με ωραριο και ημερες ωστε τα παιδια να μην βλεπουν youtube και αλλες εφαρμογες αρκετη ωρα ακομη και να τις μπλοκαρεις εντελως! Το ελεγχεις απομακρισμενα και απο το σπιτι. Στις ρυθμισεις υπαρχει μια εντολη που λεγεται QoS που σου λεει να αναγραψεις την σωστη ταχυτητα σου dawn κ upload και να μπορεσεις ετσι να δωσεις προτεραιοτητα υψηλη σε καποια συσκευη που θελειες εσυ οχι μονο σε μια. Δυστυχως δεν δουλευει σωστα μα ουτε και σταθερα οταν το ενεργοποιησα μου εριξε και την συνολικη ταχυτητα 200 mbps! (εχω 1000) Ειχα πολλες αποσυνδεσεις στο ps5 λογω ασταθης ταχυτητας, προσωπικα αυτο off και ολα καλα. Εχει να ενημερωνεσαι για τα απντειτ του ρουτερ σου και να τα εγκαταστησεις. Αυτο που μου κανει ιδιαιτερη εντυπωση το πολυ δυνατο wifi στα 5 ghz που εχει με τις εξι κεραιες του! Οτι πιανω σταθερα σε ταχυτητα το ιδιο εχω και με wifi, βεβαια παιζει ρολο και η συσκευη... Πραγματικα αξιζει τα 108€ που εδωσα ειναι μια καλη επενδυση.

I have a 1Gbps connection speed, using LAN & WiFi simultaneously, a computer, 2 floors with a TV box IPTV on each floor, an access point for one floor, and 6 to 8 phones. Generally, I am covered, but I see the speeds drop to half per device so the router can manage efficiently. The settings you make also play a role in achieving the best result, but that requires even more knowledge and I don't want to go into that. If we don't know, it's better to leave it to someone who does.

Εννοείται ότι μπαίνει ως δεύτερο μετά του παρόχου, είτε ως access point είτε ως κεντρικό DHCP, ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες, για να αναλάβει τη διαχείριση πολλαπλών συσκευών, διαφορετικών απαιτήσεων.
Η προσδοκία του μέσου χρήστη θα πρέπει να εστιάζει στην αποσυμφόρηση και ορθότερη διαχείριση του οικιακού δικτύου.
Καταρχήν για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν, καλό είναι να μην ενθουσιάζονται με τους αριθμούς και να δουν πρώτα τις ανάγκες που έχουν στην οικία τους σε ότι αφορά τις συσκευές που χρησιμοποιούν.
Αν μιλάμε για απαίτηση έως 4 η 5 τηλέφωνα με υποστήριξη WiFi 5 και κάτω δεν έχει νόημα να πάρεις εξειδικευμένο router, του παρόχου είναι αρκετό.
Για όσους έχουν να διαχειριστούν συσκευές όπως IPTV, υπολογιστές, τηλέφωνα με ταυτόχρονη χρήση LAN και WiFi, τότε χρειάζεται εξειδικευμένη διαχείριση οπότε εκεί αρχίζουμε να ψάχνουμε λεπτομερώς τις προδιαγραφές των συσκευών μας για να βρούμε το κατάλληλο router. Υπόψιν ότι υπάρχουν και ποιο οικονομικά router που μπορούν να καλύψουν πλήρως τις ανάγκες ενός μέσου χρήστη.
Αυτό το router μπορεί να καλύψει όλες τις βασικές ανάγκες με λίγο αυξημένες απαιτήσεις , για ένα δίκτυο παρόχου έως 500Mbps.
Εγώ που έχω 1Gbps ταχύτητα σύνδεσης, με χρήση ταυτόχρονα LAN & WiFi, υπολογιστή, 2 ορόφους με ένα Tvbox IPTV σε κάθε όροφο, ένα access point για τον ένα όροφο και 6 έως 8 τηλέφωνα, σε γενικές γραμμές είμαι καλυμμένος, ωστόσο βλέπω τις ταχύτητες να πέφτουν στα μισά ανά συσκευή προκειμένου το router να κάνει επαρκής διαχείριση. Παίζουν ρόλο και οι ρυθμίσεις που θα κάνεις ,για να πετύχεις το μέγιστο αποτέλεσμα , αλλά αυτό απαιτεί ακόμα περισσότερες γνώσεις και δεν θέλω να επεκταθώ ως εκεί. Αν δεν ξέρουμε καλύτερα να το αφήσουμε σε κάποιον που το κατέχει.
Θα επανέλθω μόνο για να συμπληρώσω πληροφορίες η αν προκύψει κάποιο πρόβλημα.

Παρά πολύ καλό ρουτερ. έχει μεγάλη εμβέλεια και σου δίνει πολύ παραπάνω από την ταχύτητα που σου δίνει το ρουτερ του παροχου. Το ρουτερ του παροχου δεν το καταργούμε απλά εκεί πάνω με ένα καλοδιο συνδέουμε το tp-link
Very good, easy menu and connection even for new users. Manages the entire home network with internet provided by Starlink and with bypass of the Starlink router. Performs very well, without lags, has 10+ devices connected, does good management of network printer and network external enclosure for 2 hard drives.

It is the best router, I have a connection simultaneously with Starlink and I see speeds that are out of this world for Greek standards and without fiber optic. A bit expensive but worth the money.

The router is a star, it works continuously for a year without any problem.
At a party with 50 people, it had no problem and no one complained about not having a network: with the old 30€ router, they were complaining and we were encouraging them, instead of playing with their phones, to dance.

Σε πάρτι με 50 άτομα δεν είχε κανένα πρόβλημα και κανείς δεν παραπονέθηκε ότι δεν είχε δίκτυο: με το παλιό router των 30€ γκρίνιαζαν και ως λύση τους προτρέπαμε, αντί να παίζουν με τα κινητά, να χορέψουν.

I will start by saying that I have never had a router in my hands over 25€.
For the past year, I was using an Archer C50 which was loaded with about a dozen smart devices, 2 mobile phones, and 2 computers. When trying to connect to WiFi on my mobile phone (iPhone 13), it was slow and took more than 10 seconds each time. Also, the speeds it provided were around 92-93 Mbps on a 100/10Mbps FFTH line.
As you can see in the photos, this one gives over 100 at night while during the day it drops to 97-98. Connecting devices to the network is really fast, and small glitches in apps like Instagram (stories not loading, for example) are gone. Videos on YouTube on both mobile and computer start immediately, and you never see the video loading graphic anymore. The network range, using only the router, in a long narrow house of 120 sq.m. is unreal (tested for 20-25 days in this specific area)...really no comparison to before.
The router is at one end of the house and the speed test you see in the photos is literally at the other end, 15 meters away, with only one wall in between. Speedtest on the mobile phone next to the router gives exactly the same result every time I ran it. In tests I did with 5 walls (2 rooms & kitchen) from the router, the speeds were around: 23 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up, which is very impressive for so many obstacles!
We are talking about a semi-professional router that could easily be used and trusted in a small business since it can handle up to 200 devices according to TP-Link.
I will come back to add any updates I have for this router in the future, as well as the results of using it in a stone house of 45 sq.m. this time, and always comparing it to the previous one I had (Archer C50 v6).
Soon I will move it to a new house with a 200 ftth line and will update the review with any new information I gather. However, so far it has proven to be a gem, I really love it.
Να ξεκινήσω λέγοντας πως δεν είχα ποτέ στα χέρια μου router άνω των 25€.
Τον τελευταίο χρόνο χρησιμοποιούσα ένα Archer C50 το οποίο είχε φορτωθεί με μια δεκαριά έξυπνες συσκευές, 2 κινητά και 2 υπολογιστές. Όταν άνοιγες στο κινητό (iPhone 13) το WiFi αργούσε να συνδεθεί και κάθε φορά ήθελε 10+ δευτερόλεπτα. Επίσης οι ταχύτητες που έδινε θα ήταν της τάξεως των 92-93 Mbps σε γραμμή 100/10Mbps FFTH.
Όπως θα δείτε και στις φωτογραφίες, το συγκεκριμένο δίνει παραπάνω από 100 τις νυχτερινές ώρες ενώ την ημέρα πέφτει στα 97-98. Η σύνδεση των συσκευών στο δίκτυο είναι πραγματικά αστραπιαία ενώ μικρά κολλήματα σε εφαρμογές τύπου Instagram (δεν φόρτωναν τα story για παράδειγμα) έφυγαν. Τα βίντεο στο YouTube τόσο στο κινητό όσο και στον υπολογιστή ξεκινάνε κατευθείαν και δεν βλέπεις ποτέ το γραφικό φόρτωσης του βίντεο πλέον. Η εμβέλεια του δικτύου, με χρήση μόνο του router, σε μακρόστενο σπίτι 120 τ.μ. είναι εξωπραγματική (γίνεται δοκιμή του για 20-25 ημέρες στο συγκεκριμένο χώρο)...πραγματικά καμία σχέση με πρίν.
Το router βρίσκεται στην μια άκρη του σπιτιού και το speed test που βλέπετε στις φωτογραφίες είναι κυριολεκτικά στην άλλη άκρη, στα 15 μέτρα απόσταση, με μόνο ένα τοίχο ενδιάμεσα. Speedtest του κινητού δίπλα στο router δίνει ακριβώς το ίδιο αποτέλεσμα οσες φορές και αν το έτρεξα. Σε δοκιμές που έκανα με 5 τοίχους (2 δωμάτια & κουζίνα) απο το router, οι ταχύτητες ανέρχονταν πάνω κάτω στα: 23 Mbps down και 3Mbps up που είναι πολύ αξιόλογες για τόσα εμπόδια!
Μιλάμε για έναν ημιεπαγγελματικό router που άνετα θα μπορούσε να αξιοποιήσει και να εμπιστευτεί κάποιος σε μια μικρή επιχείρηση μιάς και μπορεί να διαχειριστεί μέχρι και 200 συσκευές σύμφωνα με την TP-Link.
Θα επανέλθω να προσθέσω οτιδήποτε νεότερο έχω για το συγκεκριμένο router στο μέλλον καθώς και τα αποτελέσματα σε χρήση του σε πέτρινο σπίτι όμως στα 45 τ.μ. αυτή τη φορά και πάντα σύγκριση με το προηγούμενο που είχα (Archer C50 v6).
Σύντομα θα το μεταφέρω σε νέο σπίτι με 200 ftth γραμμή και θα ενημερώσω την αξιολόγηση με ότι νεότεορ συλλέξω. Πάντως μέχρι στιγμής έχει αποδειχθεί διαμαντάκι, πραγματικα το έχω λατρέψει.
I am very happy with this router. It is fast and stable for me and can handle a lot of items connecting to it at the same time - these days this is important because of household goods, lightbulbs, smoke alarms, air condition, everything talking to the router at once - not just phones and laptops. I get my internet over a SIM card (in a different router) so I have just connected the two routers together. The first router now JUST gets the internet and supplies it to the Archer AX73 by a cable, which then does all the WiFi connections. This works perfectly for me. Very happy with the result.
Coming from a Netgear Nighthawk R7000, I decided to replace it as it was almost a decade old and there were already WiFi 6 devices in the house with numerous streaming clients.
Positives:
- Installation was fairly quick (I used a computer instead of the app and didn't encounter any issues).
- Capabilities that will cater to a large percentage of users.
- Fast connection with WiFi 6 - I saw significant improvement on the TV with Google Chromecast with Google TV using Plex, Netflix, and Cosmote TV.
- Good range, plus it is supposed to connect with other TP-Link products for mesh (I haven't tested this).
Negatives:
- For anyone who wants to use the Parental Controls (e.g., shut off the child's internet after 12 midnight), they will have to pay a subscription fee of 5 to 6 euros per month, which is completely unacceptable.* Minus one star for greediness. I won't even bother mentioning what else this subscription offers as I consider it simply ridiculous. Google TP-Link HomeShield for information.
- There is no integration with Home Assistant, but I won't deduct a star due to its very specific case/use, so it would be unfair.
* You can blacklist the device and re-allow it through the menu.
Ερχόμενος από ένα Netgear Nighthawk R7000, είπα να το αντικαταστήσωμιας και πλέον κόντευε 10ετία χρήσης και ήδη εμφανίζονταν WiFi 6 συσκευές στο σπίτι με άπειρα streaming clients.
Θετικά:
- Εγκατάσταση αρκετά γρήγορη (χρησιμοποίησα υπολογιστή αντί του app και δεν αντιμετώπισα κανένα πρόβλημα)
- Δυνατότητες που θα καλύψουν ένα μεγάλο ποσοστό χρηστών.
- Γρήγορη συνδέση με WiFi 6 - είδα αρκέτη βελτίωση σε τηλεόραση με Google Chromecast with Google TV σε Plex, Netflix και Cosmote TV.
- Καλή εμβέλεια συν ότι υποτίθεται ότι συνδέεις και άλλα προιόντα TP-Link για να κάνεις mesh (δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει).
Αρνητικά:
- Για όποιον θέλει να χρησιμοποιήσει τα Parental Controls (πχ. κλείσε το ιντερνετ του παιδιού μετά τις 12 το βράδυ) θα πρέπει να πληρώσει συνδρομή 5 με 6 ευρώ τον μήνα το οποίο είναι επιεικώς απαράδεκτο.* Μείον ένα αστεράκι για την απληστία. Δεν θα μπω καν στον κόπο να πω τι άλλο προσφέρει αυτή η συνδρομή μιας και τα θεωρώ απλά αστεία. Γκουγκλάρετε TP-Link HomeShield για πληροφορίες.
- Δεν υπάρχει integration με Home Αssistant αλλά δεν βγάζω αστέρι λόγο της πολύ ειδικής περίπτωσης/χρήσης οπότε θα ήταν άδικο.
* Μπορείς να κάνεις blacklist την συσκευή και να την ξαναφήσεις μέσα από το μενού.
It took me about 10-15 minutes to install it (I am relatively unfamiliar with networks, etc.). I can say that before the package arrived, I had some doubts if I could do it myself, but ultimately, due to the application (on my mobile) and the instructions they provided, it was very informative and an easy process.
As for the rest, I got it because I wanted to make full use of the Wi-Fi's download and upload capabilities of the devices, as I use a lot of cloud services, either for sending videos from one device to another or for gaming, etc. I have a 100 Mbps connection and for so long, I was getting around 20-30 Mbps with the factory modem from the company. Now, I get 100 Mbps upload and 100 Mbps download. I feel like the whole house took a breath and the internet coverage expanded throughout the entire house. I have had it for about 1 month so far and I am very satisfied.
Μ πήρε περίπου 10-15 λεπτά να το εγκαταστήσω (είμαι σχετικά άσχετος με δίκτυα κτλ) μπορώ να πω ότι πριν μ έρθει το δέμα είχα κάποιες αμφιβολίες αν θα τα καταφέρω μόνος μ , αλλά εντέλει λόγο της εφαρμογής (στο κινητό) και τις οδηγίες που σ δίνουν ήταν κατατοπιστικότατοι και εύκολη διαδικασία .
Όσο για τα υπόλοιπα το πήρα γιατί ήθελα να αξιοποιώ το 100% του download και upload από το Wi-Fi των συσκευών γιατί χρησιμοποιώ πολύ cloud υπηρεσίες είτε για βίντεο να στέλνω από τη μια συσκευή στην άλλη είτε για gaming κτλ κτλ. Έχω 100άρα γραμμή και τόσο καιρό έπιανα περίπου 20-30 με το εργοστασιακό μόντεμ της εταιρίας , τώρα πιάνω 100upload - 100download , νιώθω ότι όλο το σπίτι πήρε μια ανάσα και επεκτάθηκε και η απόσταση που καλύπτει το Ίντερνετ σ όλο το σπίτι . Το έχω περίπου 1 μήνα μέχρι στιγμής είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος .

The positives are as mentioned in the other reviews so I will mention 2 negatives for me.
1. It is ridiculous to ask for a subscription for more features like security+ , parental controls+

An amazing router! Easy to install even for someone who doesn't know much. Its construction seems to be of good quality. It is stable for simple home use but especially for gaming (PS5). You can set up static IPs through the TP-Link page as well as open ports for specific games. Through the TP-Link app, Tether, you can set up WiFi passwords, get weekly updates on usage, see new devices connecting to the router, and block unwanted ones... There is a parental control feature under the family section with schedules and days so that kids don't watch YouTube and other apps for too long, or you can block them completely! You can control it remotely and from home. In the settings, there is a command called QoS that asks you to enter your correct download and upload speed so you can give high priority to any device you want, not just one. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly or stably—when I activated it, it even dropped my total speed to 200 Mbps! (I have 1000) I had many disconnections on the PS5 due to unstable speed, so personally, I turned it off and everything was fine. You get notified about your router's updates and can install them. What impresses me the most is the very strong 5 GHz WiFi it has with its six antennas! Whatever stable speed I get with a cable, I get the same with WiFi, though the device also plays a role... It really is worth the 108€ I paid, it's a good investment.
Ενα ρουτερ καταπληκτικο! Ευκολο στην εγκατασταση ακομη και για καποιον που δεν γνωριζει πολλα. Η κατασκευη του φαινεται ποιοτικη. Ειναι σταθερο για απλη οικιακη χρηση αλλα ιδιαιτερα για gaming (PS5). Μπορεις να φτιαξεις μεσα απο την σελιδα της tp-link σταθερες ip οπως και να ανοιξεις πορτες για συγκεκριμενα games. Μεσα απο το app της tp-link το tether μπορεις να φτιαξεις τους κωδικους wifi να ενημερωνεσαι εβδομαδιαια για την χρηση τις συσκευες τις νεες που συνδεονται στο ρουτερ οπως και να μπλοκαρεις τις ανεπιθυμητες... Υπαρχει στον ορο οικογενεια γονικος ελεγχος με ωραριο και ημερες ωστε τα παιδια να μην βλεπουν youtube και αλλες εφαρμογες αρκετη ωρα ακομη και να τις μπλοκαρεις εντελως! Το ελεγχεις απομακρισμενα και απο το σπιτι. Στις ρυθμισεις υπαρχει μια εντολη που λεγεται QoS που σου λεει να αναγραψεις την σωστη ταχυτητα σου dawn κ upload και να μπορεσεις ετσι να δωσεις προτεραιοτητα υψηλη σε καποια συσκευη που θελειες εσυ οχι μονο σε μια. Δυστυχως δεν δουλευει σωστα μα ουτε και σταθερα οταν το ενεργοποιησα μου εριξε και την συνολικη ταχυτητα 200 mbps! (εχω 1000) Ειχα πολλες αποσυνδεσεις στο ps5 λογω ασταθης ταχυτητας, προσωπικα αυτο off και ολα καλα. Εχει να ενημερωνεσαι για τα απντειτ του ρουτερ σου και να τα εγκαταστησεις. Αυτο που μου κανει ιδιαιτερη εντυπωση το πολυ δυνατο wifi στα 5 ghz που εχει με τις εξι κεραιες του! Οτι πιανω σταθερα σε ταχυτητα το ιδιο εχω και με wifi, βεβαια παιζει ρολο και η συσκευη... Πραγματικα αξιζει τα 108€ που εδωσα ειναι μια καλη επενδυση.

Πολύ καλό, πιάνει σε πολύ μεγάλη απόσταση, ένα όμως αρνητικό είναι ότι δεν παίρνει επάνω κατ' ευθείαν γραμμή τηλεφώνου και έπρεπε να ενώσω πάλι το παλαιό ρούτερ, το οποίο τώρα έρχεται και συνδέεται σε μία θύρα του.

This router can cover all basic needs with slightly increased requirements, for a provider network up to 500Mbps.
I have a 1Gbps connection speed, using LAN & WiFi simultaneously, a computer, 2 floors with a TV box IPTV on each floor, an access point for one floor, and 6 to 8 phones. Generally, I am covered, but I see the speeds drop to half per device so the router can manage efficiently. The settings you make also play a role in achieving the best result, but that requires even more knowledge and I don't want to go into that. If we don't know, it's better to leave it to someone who does.

Εύκολη εγκατάσταση, με πολύ καλή πρώτη εντύπωση.
Εννοείται ότι μπαίνει ως δεύτερο μετά του παρόχου, είτε ως access point είτε ως κεντρικό DHCP, ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες, για να αναλάβει τη διαχείριση πολλαπλών συσκευών, διαφορετικών απαιτήσεων.
Η προσδοκία του μέσου χρήστη θα πρέπει να εστιάζει στην αποσυμφόρηση και ορθότερη διαχείριση του οικιακού δικτύου.
Καταρχήν για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν, καλό είναι να μην ενθουσιάζονται με τους αριθμούς και να δουν πρώτα τις ανάγκες που έχουν στην οικία τους σε ότι αφορά τις συσκευές που χρησιμοποιούν.
Αν μιλάμε για απαίτηση έως 4 η 5 τηλέφωνα με υποστήριξη WiFi 5 και κάτω δεν έχει νόημα να πάρεις εξειδικευμένο router, του παρόχου είναι αρκετό.
Για όσους έχουν να διαχειριστούν συσκευές όπως IPTV, υπολογιστές, τηλέφωνα με ταυτόχρονη χρήση LAN και WiFi, τότε χρειάζεται εξειδικευμένη διαχείριση οπότε εκεί αρχίζουμε να ψάχνουμε λεπτομερώς τις προδιαγραφές των συσκευών μας για να βρούμε το κατάλληλο router. Υπόψιν ότι υπάρχουν και ποιο οικονομικά router που μπορούν να καλύψουν πλήρως τις ανάγκες ενός μέσου χρήστη.
Αυτό το router μπορεί να καλύψει όλες τις βασικές ανάγκες με λίγο αυξημένες απαιτήσεις , για ένα δίκτυο παρόχου έως 500Mbps.
Εγώ που έχω 1Gbps ταχύτητα σύνδεσης, με χρήση ταυτόχρονα LAN & WiFi, υπολογιστή, 2 ορόφους με ένα Tvbox IPTV σε κάθε όροφο, ένα access point για τον ένα όροφο και 6 έως 8 τηλέφωνα, σε γενικές γραμμές είμαι καλυμμένος, ωστόσο βλέπω τις ταχύτητες να πέφτουν στα μισά ανά συσκευή προκειμένου το router να κάνει επαρκής διαχείριση. Παίζουν ρόλο και οι ρυθμίσεις που θα κάνεις ,για να πετύχεις το μέγιστο αποτέλεσμα , αλλά αυτό απαιτεί ακόμα περισσότερες γνώσεις και δεν θέλω να επεκταθώ ως εκεί. Αν δεν ξέρουμε καλύτερα να το αφήσουμε σε κάποιον που το κατέχει.
