I bought them as safety glasses for the car, either for myself (if I didn’t have access to my regular ones) or for a passenger (who wouldn’t have their own). That’s why I chose them to be polarized.
They are decent for their price, lightweight and sturdy. But, of course, they do not offer the same level of protection from the sun as the (much more expensive) polarized Ray-Bans.
