I bought it for work laptop (not for gaming at all). I use a separate keyboard so I don't have an opinion on its typing experience.

Pros:
- Sturdy and modern construction with nice feet.
- Has options for the top fans, bottom fans, or all fans to work.
- Relatively quiet, not completely.
- Has an additional USB port.

Cons:
- Cooling.

Conclusion:
Everything is fine, but it doesn't perform well in its main task. The cooling it provides in my case is negligible. The fans are not powerful, and now I use it more as a stand. I do not recommend it.

The only negative thing is that I expected it to provide better cooling and have more powerful fans. I do not recommend it for gaming, if I had the opportunity to try it before purchasing, it would not be my final choice.

I have been using the base for about 2 weeks now, on a 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Although noticeably larger than the laptop itself, the situation is not so tragic, on the contrary, I am starting to like the fact that it cools my hands.

In terms of cooling, it is very good. I usually activate it when I use Logic Pro, as the laptop tends to get really hot, to the point where I burn myself when using the keyboard, and I am simply shocked by the fact that it freezes it as if it were in sleep mode.

However, the typing and everyday use are not convenient. At the moment, as I am writing this, I am using it and I cannot say that it is the same as typing without the base.

Another annoying issue is that the MacBook moves from its position at intervals, while on one side it does not sit well and lifts with use.

Overall, for the money and the fact that it is universal, it is indeed a very good and efficient proposition.

I had the base in my hands and used it one week later, the left top fan broke with moderate use, I sent it back and they replaced it for me. The truth is that they sent me a new one in just 4 days. Very good metal base, durable plastic on top and it is quiet. The negative thing is that both bases had the same performance, which is very low. It's not worth the money!

The base alone cannot do the job.
I have a fairly warm laptop with i5 6300hq and r9 m375.
When I play for a while, it heats up. With the air conditioning on and this base, I have no issues with temperature. So, in normal conditions with good room temperatures, the base will indeed be useful to you during gaming.
Don't expect it to save your laptop on its own if you don't use it properly.

Very good as a construction for now, it cools down my laptop and in case of any problems, I will come back with a relevant post about it... At first sight and use, satisfied.

Generally, for moderate computer use, it's fine. Unfortunately, for my own laptop that I use for office work and therefore runs heavy design programs, I don't see any significant results. There is still overheating.

I have it here for 20 days, what can I say, it's perfect, worth its money. It has a very sturdy construction and in terms of performance, the temperature dropped by 10-12 degrees and my laptop is also quieter because its fans don't need to run at full speed!

I have had a laptop for many years and I have never bought a cooling pad. I decided to get one and I am very excited. It is sturdy and even with 4 fans, it is quiet. My laptop doesn't overheat anymore, it's amazing. I am lucky that I found a good cooling pad, of course I researched it first. I am lucky that I found this one, now both me and my laptop are cool!

The base is quite decent as it lowers the laptop's temperature by about 10-15 degrees, however it is not suitable for 17.3-inch laptops as some stores claim, since mine, which is 17.3 inches, protrudes beyond the base. Lastly, I'm not sure if it's worth 30€ because there are cheaper ones that have similar or even better performance, but this specific one for gaming definitely manages to help with laptop cooling.

Very good base, quiet compared to other bases I have used and with good cooling. It also has a very high-quality sturdy and metallic construction. Its price was a bit steep (I found it for 40€) and I think it could have been a little lower, but I don't consider it a disadvantage for what it offers. Overall, in the last month that I have been using it, I have been completely satisfied and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality base.

Very good choice for a 15.6-inch laptop with quality sturdy construction, almost silent, good cooling with speed selection and switching between top and bottom fans or all fans.

After a year and frequent use, I could say that the base makes more noise than it cools the laptop. It works normally without any problems in all three modes, however, the difference in cooling is significantly reduced.

I bought it for a 17-inch laptop, it is slightly smaller in width, about two fingers smaller than the laptop. The box stated that it is for 17.3 inches. It is durable and quite efficient, but it could be better

The specific base is for a 15-inch laptop. I don't know why the company sells it as a base for 17-inch laptops. Two months ago, I bought the MultiCore X6, which is sold as a base for 15-inch laptops and is larger than the X8.

Good build quality and very low noise in all three operating positions. It costs a little more but it's worth the money. I use it on a 15-inch laptop and it leaves only 1.5 centimeters of space - back and sides. Recommended in any case.

Amazing base! It cools down the Asus g751 fantastically! I tested it and it's truly 10+ degrees cooler than the old one I had!

It is a very nice construction, beautiful and sturdy. Completely silent for my taste and user-friendly (3 fan functions and you don't lose the USB output from the laptop). In my own laptop, which unfortunately has a small opening for the machine to get air, it hasn't made a big difference from the previous stand I had (2 fans, the temperature difference is 2-5 degrees lower than before). It doesn't produce a tremendous amount of air and when I have my laptop open and not using it, it reaches up to 55 degrees, but as soon as I use it, it easily reaches 75-80 degrees max (I don't play games on the laptop, office work, music, and browsing).

Very good construction and sturdy, purchased in May 2016. I have had the product for a year, it is flawless, it has not presented any problems. I have installed it from the beginning on my new Dell Inspiron i7 Laptop, the temperature is very low. It does what it is designed for. I recommend it. I come back to testify that this particular product is TOP until now, April 2018.

June 2020. The product is fully functional. I clean the blades with a brush and a damp cloth approximately every year, as well as the ports with compressed air.

November 19, 2021. I use the product almost daily without any problems. The laptop does not overheat, especially now that I have changed the hard drive and replaced it with a 500GB SSD. Firstly, it works faster and secondly, the temperature is lower than ever.

The best thing I have ever bought in a blender. It works perfectly and almost silently even with all 4 fans. Very sturdy construction. The laptop fits comfortably. It's worth its money in any case

From the best laptop cooling bases! Solid construction and stable support for your computer! The cooling it provides is very good and quiet even with all 4 fans operating!

Even though I have only used it for one day, I can confidently say that it has many advantages:
1. It is completely silent.
2. It has a switch to select between 2 or 4 fans, etc.
3. The laptop shows lower temperatures and performs much better.
4. Very sturdy, good build quality.

So far, I have not identified any disadvantages.
I recommend it!
