The air drawn by the vent hood is either expelled through a duct or recirculated within the hood. For operation with air extraction, a duct must be installed to expel the air outside the kitchen. It's as if there is no extractor fan. All the smells remain in the kitchen. Also, it doesn't have good lighting at all. The one light bulb it has broke one month after installation.

Both motors broke down after the warranty within a span of 3 months from each other. But still, they didn't pull anything. Deceptive

If it had zero stars, I would give it that; it came with one motor burned out, and I got nowhere with the infamous tin can warranty. If this pulls 550m3, I want to know how they measured it; I went straight to the bin and put the old one back

WARNING!!! No spare parts available! I called PYRAMIS to replace the burnt-out bulb. The response was 'NO SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE BECAUSE IT'S OLD.' It was purchased from LEROY 2 years ago.

As far as build quality, the motor is very good and that's what matters most in an extractor fan. The second most important thing is the suction power, which is truly enormous but it does make quite a bit of noise on the third setting. What I didn't like was the filter, which unfortunately gets easily damaged with even the slightest pressure from your fingers and requires a lot of attention when cleaning. Find a professional degreasing liquid and not those from the supermarket that are completely ineffective at cleaning grease from the extractor fan. Spray it every two months and let it soak for a couple of hours, then rinse it with warm water and spray it again for 20 minutes, followed by a final rinse with warm water and good pressure, and the filter will be spotless. If you leave the filter unwashed for months, then the extractor fan will stop pulling and absorbing the steam and won't do its job properly. However, the motor excels in suction power.

Unfortunately, its filter is so fragile that you're afraid to touch it, let alone wash it. A slight touch and it crumples like paper. Although it has been properly installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and the motor releases a lot of air from the wall to the outside atmosphere, indicating the power of the motor and good air circulation, the filter drips water where it touches in the center of the extractor. I can't understand why there is so much steam, even with minimal cooking, while the air circulates very well at the wall outlet. Overall, in terms of price and performance, I would say 60% satisfied. Maybe it will work better for others. The motor is very powerful.

  • It does not absorb properly, resulting in steam wandering around the kitchen. It does not have a front wing to contain the steam inside the extractor, and the worst part is that droplets form on the surface of the stainless steel filters when boiling, for example, pasta, which then "pop" in your face and you hear them sizzling! Just get something else.

One star because it doesn't have a zero scale!!! Stay away... it doesn't have different settings on the scales and it doesn't absorb at all!!!! I did the test, meaning if you put a kitchen paper spread out, it doesn't hold it with the filters on, only if you touch it to the motor!!!
