Berling Silicon Aqua Insecticide wood preservative is water-based and colourless, for treating new wood outdoors. It protects against fungi that cause rot and blue staining, as well as termites and insects, without changing the wood’s colour. It also improves the adhesion of the next coat and can be used on windows, exterior doors, cladding, eaves, fences and canopies.
It is ready to use and can be applied by brush, roller or spray without dilution. For industrial use, it can be applied by immersion for at least 3 minutes or by flow coating. After application, the wood needs a topcoat suitable for outdoor use. Not recommended for old, previously painted surfaces or for wood that comes into contact with soil, the marine environment, food or animal feed. Indoors, use only on exterior doors and window frames.
