Manual equatorial mount
The telescope mount features two micrometer adjustment cables that allow you to improve targeting accuracy in both the right ascension (RA) axis and the declination (DEC) axis.
Motor tracking
The observed object can remain within the field of view as long as the tracking motor included in the package is placed on the axis of the correct reference. Its installation is easy and will ensure you track objects as they cross the night sky from east to west. To keep the observed object within the field of view for a long period of time, simply adjust the declination (DEC) occasionally, provided that the mount is aligned with the North Celestial Pole and the tracking motor is functioning. The motor can be used in locations in the northern and southern hemispheres of the Earth and operates on a 9V battery. This way, you won't have any cables to tangle you up. To change the tracking speed, simply turn the knob located below the motor's indicator light. Turn right to accelerate or left to decelerate. This allows you to adjust the speed according to the observed object. For example, the Moon and planets move faster in the sky compared to deep sky objects.
Smartphone adapter
Capture celestial or terrestrial targets with your mobile phone, thanks to the smartphone adapter that accompanies your telescope. It is compatible with any mobile phone and any eyepiece with an external diameter of 34 mm. The magnification provided by the eyepiece will give you the opportunity to take impressive photos of the Moon and the planets. Its installation is easy. Your smartphone will be held securely, thanks to the adjustment screw that the adapter has. Keep in mind that bulky smartphone cases should be removed so that your device can fit into the adapter.
