Christmas is approaching and Karagiozis is running errands for Mr. Skordalias in order to earn some money for his family. The very rich and very stingy Skordalias cares about only one thing in his life: how to increase his money. He doesn't seem to care much about the happiness of his own daughter. And Christmas Eve arrives! Mr. Skordalias is trembling with fear because he knows that any moment now, the goblins will come and he worries that they will snatch his money. While Karagiozis is only worried that they might snatch him. What will happen? Will the goblins come to Mr. Skordalias' house, and if so, how will both he and Karagiozis react? In the end, will they and their families manage to celebrate Christmas, and how?
