Description

The SkyWatcher 114/900 EQ1 telescope is a fantastic telescope for the beginner amateur astronomer.

Observe the giant planets, such as Jupiter and Saturn, as well as nebulae and clusters. The SkyWatcher 114/900 EQ1 telescope is a fantastic telescope for the beginner amateur astronomer.

It has the advantage of gathering 125% more light than a 76mm telescope and 165% more than a 70mm, showing better the main details in nebulae and clusters.

With a maximum useful magnification of 224x, this telescope will reveal details in Saturn's rings, Jupiter's belts, Mars' polar ice caps, and the phases of Venus and the moon.

Equatorial Mount EQ1

The equatorial mount EQ1 is a lightweight mount, capable of compensating for the Earth's rotation by moving along a single axis. Optionally, the Right Ascension motor (clock drive) can be connected, making observation even more comfortable.

High-quality optics for stunning images

SkyWatcher parabolic mirror reflectors and all Dobsonian models feature a secondary mirror with thin supports (0.5 mm thick), to reduce diffraction spikes and light loss
