Personally, I couldn't notice any difference in the sponges, neither in their shape nor in their surface or hardness! The two white ones with the bristles are okay and they do the job for tough scrubbing, if we're talking about car polish! The size is small, so we're not talking about the whole car... for the whole car, you need a larger surface! Maybe if it was a little cheaper, it would deserve an extra star.
