Description & Specifications

After being humiliated once again by Crash Bandicoot at the end of Crash Twinsanity, Cortex returns to his diabolical schemes in his ruined Iceberg Lair. He comes across a newspaper article about the closure of the condemned racing arena of Ebeneezer Von Clutch. He devises an evil plan to challenge Crash to a seemingly friendly race... with plans to crush the poor bandicoot under the wreckage of the dangerous track! Will the evil doctor's plans be the end of our furry hero?

In Crash Tag Team Racing, players can "clash" their car with their opponent in the middle of the race to create a supercar equipped with a powerful gun. When they clash, players can either get behind the wheel and drive, or shoot a weapon at the vehicle. Each character has their own unique deadly 360Ú rotating turret. Players can continue the action outside of the car where they can explore the entire world on foot and collect upgrades for their cars and unlock bonus pieces.
