Not socialism, but a state capitalism that transitioned into the capitalism of the globalized market and its competitions.

Garkanas concludes the book with this phrase: "In the face of the destabilized global capitalism, where the Chinese superpower is emerging, our hope remains what Marx proclaimed: 'Proletarians of all countries, unite!', from Athens to Shanghai!".
