    If you want to buy them, don't think too much... I've had them for a year and they've more than paid for themselves (I bought them for €180). I work in a transport company and imagine an electric pallet truck (industrial type) stepped on my foot and I didn't feel a thing.... The wear you will see happening, quite quickly I would say, is at the point where the fingers bend, but it doesn't affect you anywhere, it's just an aesthetic issue...
