The work is set in a dystopian future. There is no life on the surface of the planet. All of Earth's population lives beneath its surface. It has shrunk significantly, people have no names, there are no sexual contacts, and reproduction occurs according to the needs of the population and in an artificial manner.
The residents of small communities are fed by supplies sent from the central management and control unit of the population. Giorgos Kapoutzidis approaches themes such as the loss of human contact, the imminent loss of the natural beauty of the place we live, and the loss of a friend.
Humor, which has always been his ally and accompanies him both in work and in life, is absent here. It appears occasionally, but for the most part, it leaves him alone to confront fear, nightmare, and loss.
