Compared to the MX4, I didn't see any difference.
The downside of this particular one is that it cannot be spread.
Therefore, be aware that you should only put dots or lines of paste over the entire area without spreading it.

Quite a good paste but a bit thick in texture, now that the MX-7 has come out, it would be preferable to buy the newer model.

First of all, let me start by saying that this particular paste is indeed very thick and at first, when I used it for the first time, it was difficult to get it out of the tube. Now, in terms of performance, it is excellent. Value for money. How long it will last over time remains to be seen.

First, if you want to apply it more easily, put it in your pocket for a while to warm it up or use a hair dryer outside the tube, but Arctic itself advises that application with a spatula is not possible; you should use the pressure of the CPU cooler.

Efficient thermal paste for those Ryzen CPUs with a TDP of 65-80Watt. After that, you simply move to a more powerful cooler which might even come with pre-applied thermal paste. But for a replacement, it's just fine. It's best not to let it cool too much before applying, as it becomes a bit like putty and is hard to spread on the processor.

Considerably thicker than the MX-2 and MX-4, however with a small and flexible spatula it spreads in 1 minute.

I don't know if the one I bought was "defective." But it couldn't be spread with a spatula, nor did it stick to the surface I applied it to. If the product is like this from the factory, it's at the very least unacceptable. What a waste of money, I'm already looking for a new one.

I don't care if it's considered the latest and greatest... compared to mx4 and mx5, it's the worst paste in terms of application. It doesn't have a paste-like consistency, it's like modeling clay which neither spreads nor sticks to the surface. It gives you the impression of old, dried-out thermal paste, to the point that I threw away an mx6 tube that came with an AIO thinking it was old, bought another mx6 tube and the result was the same...

Good in terms of results but what I didn't like compared to the previous formula is its texture, which is drier, so when you try to apply it, it drags on the metal without grip

it lowered the temperature from 97-98 to 84-88 degrees on an ACER Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop while playing WoW.

Thicker compared to the MX-4, but in the Cinebench test I dropped 10 degrees lower. For longevity, I will update in a year.

All good, I repasted the graphics card after 5 years and saw a 10-degree drop. As expected, that is. The comments saying it's like cement probably don't take into account that this is how the MX-6 is. Never, in all the times I've used it, have I had an issue with the application; obviously, such a thick paste is harder to spread, but you don't need to spread it as if you're plastering a wall. If you mount the heatsink correctly (whether we're talking about GPU or CPU), you won't have a problem.

The worst paste I have used in the 20 years I've been dealing with computers. It doesn't spread, resulting in it not bonding; its use leaves "balls" very close together which connect from the pressure when installing the heatsink, but the fact that it doesn't spread means it also leaves a large gap between the processor and the heatsink.

For some MOSFET which has a small surface, maybe a "ball" would do the job, but for a PC it is useless.

I saw only a 3-degree difference at idle with the use of this paste and a better heatsink, compared to tests I did with no paste at all using the processor's stock heatsink, meaning the difference may be entirely due to the use of a different heatsink and the paste is as if it doesn't exist.

A thousand times a tube of cheap white no-name paste rather than this mess.

Money wasted, €4 for 2 grams in my case.

The Arctic Silver 5 that I had in my drawer for at least a decade was much more manageable and not like cement as the one I got

On Arctic's website it is mentioned that it has high viscosity and cannot be spread with a spatula. I don't know if mine was poorly stored at high temperatures, but I've never seen paste like this before. Besides the fact that I prefer to spread it, this one is so thick it looks like cement. In terms of temperatures, maybe I saw a 1C difference compared to the MX-4 on a Ryzen 5700X (in favor of the MX-6), but I can't stand looking at it. I built my first PC before 2000, I've used various pastes, even the original Arctic Silver 5, Ceramique 2, which was also thick, but not this much. Never before have I doubted whether the paste I had was spoiled. It is unnaturally thick. Someone else wrote about plasticine. Maybe even worse.

The worst! STAY AWAY! I bought it and as soon as I got it, I threw it away without even using it on my computer. It arrived dried out, worse than modeling clay!

Very good product, as the temperatures of the Ryzen 2600X processor, which used to reach 100, are now steadily at 55 to 60.

Reliable paste. Temperatures returned to normal levels. 11900k with noctua 12s does not exceed 80°C in a full gaming session.

Changing the thermal paste on two processors, a Ryzen 9600X and a 9700X, with the MX 4 they reached 80 and 82 degrees Celsius respectively after a stress test (both of these processors have the Be quiet Pure Rock 2 FX cooler). With the MX 6 and the addition of a second fan on the back side of the cooler, the temperature dropped to 68 on the first and 71 on the second.

It should do the job... I haven't tried another paste on the same processor (9950x3d) but it keeps it low... I haven't seen 65 degrees even under heavy use. It should be about 10 degrees lower, but I'm saying that without much certainty... On the other hand now... with the gigabyte Rtx 3080ti that was literally an oven, reaching 70-75 degrees when it was maxing out for a long time... now it's at 55-60, but I also changed all the thermal pads at the same time... so I believe it's also about 10 degrees lower there..

Arctic warranty!! The best thermal conductors! A little better even than Noctua (at least for me personally in the hundreds of PCs, mini PCs, and laptops that I have used it on)

Top-notch and economical. It has been used in many processors and graphics cards without any issues. Be careful if it has been left in stock for a long time, it loses its elasticity and should not be applied!

Can I put 10 stars?? Unfortunately, I can't. Guys, I bought a 6900 XT Toxic today, never opened with the stickers on the screws. I'm doing a stress test. 85 degrees. I'm doing OC-UV again test. 92 degrees. I open it. I change the paste and put the MX-6. I do the same test. Same OC-UV. 64 degrees!!!!!!!!!!! It can't be!!!! For the sake of truth, here is a photo.. 333 watts 64 degrees!!!

Coming from thermal grizzly kryonaut, I am very impressed with this one. From what I've read, it doesn't lower temperatures as much compared to mx 5. For some reason, my PC cools down. Ryzen 5 2600x full load doesn't exceed 61 degrees and the evga gtx 1070 ftw stays at 58. Applying it is indeed difficult. Be careful to apply it quickly and attach the coolers because it dries fast. Extremely satisfied
