This review is about a variation of the product

Overpriced series, not worth it for airflow fan, and the worst part is the noise from the bad motor, you can hear a ticking sound at low speeds. Both the light wing and shadow have it, but to a lesser extent. Only the silent wing 4 has a smooth motor and is worth it.

Yes, they are quiet, yes, they are of good quality, BUT as a main solution for cooling, I would not recommend it. At 12 volts, they give 900 rpm and by hand you can barely feel the air coming out. In the summer, with the Greek heatwave and having 6 of these, the cooling is borderline for long hours of gaming or heavy use in general. A thousand times, get a PWM fan with maximum speeds of 1400-1600 rpm, which almost no matter what you choose, if you adjust the temperature/fan curve to 900 rpm, they will be quiet.

Excellent fan for around €10. It is the "silent" version that reaches up to 1000 revolutions per minute, adjusted to performance in the BIOS, running at around 900 and it is indeed quiet. Since I placed it in front to suck in air in the Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX (now with 2 fans), I have seen an improvement in processor temperature (R5 3600X) of at least 5C lower. For even better cooling, there is the High-Speed version, which is the same but reaches 1600 revolutions and is, of course, more audible. Two disadvantages:
    1) It has a relatively short cable length. The 3 pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans in the case have a much longer length.
    2) The 4 screws in the package are silver and not black... And one tip before installing the fan. Screw and unscrew the screws on top of it, so that the plastic "digs in" and creates the "grooves" because you will struggle with screwing it in the case.

The fans are quiet, which is the main reason I bought them. They cool the case perfectly fine, I bought two 140mm ones, put one in the back and the other in the front. Phanteks Enthoo Pro Tempered Glass full tower case, the stock fans of this case were noisy. Now you can't hear anything. Two very small negatives are that 1) they could have included black screws instead of silver ones, so they would blend better in a black case and 2) their cable that goes into the motherboard is not very long for good cable management, at least for us with a full tower. But the fans, guys, are really value for money and they do their job!

Please note, those of you who are purchasing this to add an additional fan to the 500DX case, it is not the same as the ones provided in the box. The ones included in the case have:
    Fan speed (rpm) 900
Noise level (dB) 17.1 (even here we are not completely silent)
    Airflow CFM 55.8
    while this one has:
    Fan speed (rpm) 1000
    Noise level (dB) 18.8
    Airflow CFM 61.2

So, you gain in airflow but the noise increases noticeably in practice. To be considered silent, it should be (subjectively) below 16db. Therefore, you will need to adjust the motherboard (dc control from UEFI/BIOS) to reduce the speed to 800 rpm, which gives less than 16db.

If you are not interested in adjustments or have an older motherboard and want to directly connect a fan to 4pin/molex and have it run at low speed, it is better to go for something like the Scythe KazeFlex 120 (800rpm) to keep your ears quiet.

I put it on the processor cooler (https://www.skroutz.gr/s/12413418/Enermax-ETS-T40F-RFA.html) on the Ryzen 7 1700x, since the previous fan from Enermax that was on it gave up after two years of operation (it didn't even have a counter!). It's good, in idle mode it's around 40-50°C with the fan spinning at 700 RPM, and 45-55°C in normal mode. It's spacious, efficient... and most importantly, quiet.

The best for the money you give!!!
If you are not interested in LEDs and colorful gimmicks that increase the temperature, but in build quality and performance, then at 140mm it is one of the best.
Regarding, I must add that for the best heat transfer from the internal chamber of the case to the outside, the internal pressure must be negative. To make it understandable, we calculate the maximum total cubic inflow to always be smaller than the total cubic outflow. Finally, we make sure that the intake fans are located low while the corresponding exhaust fans are located high in the case (a matter of its architecture).

The fan came with the case I bought, so I can't tell you about the packaging. It is quiet up to 800rpm and even at full rpm, the sound is not annoying at all, you only hear the airflow and nothing from the motor. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have a sleeved cable, but it is completely black and doesn't have rubber coating for perimeter vibrations. As a value for money, it will definitely be one of the top choices, in terms of performance the SW3 fans are slightly better with fewer db but more expensive.

An affordable purchase for fans. I have 2 of them and they are quiet. Be careful before you buy them to check the connectivity.

A great fan. It was installed in the front of the Be Quiet 500DX for intake, along with the other one that came with the case.

In ryzen 3600, stable system temperature at stock and stress is 36 degrees and the only noise you hear is the mechanical disk. (and the tower placed on the desk next to the monitor)

You simply can't hear anything (okay, if you put your ear in a completely quiet environment, you can hear a distant whisper) - and I have 2 140mm fans sucking in + 1 120mm fan pushing out...

  • Overpriced series, not worth it for airflow fan, and the worst part is the noise from the bad motor, you can hear a ticking sound at low speeds. Both the light wing and shadow have it, but to a lesser extent. Only the silent wing 4 has a smooth motor and is worth it.

  • I had 12 centimeters before and now I have 14. Compared to the 12-inch one, it makes a little more noise, but I don't know if someone can find better airflow at these prices

  • Yes, they are quiet, yes, they are of good quality, BUT as a main solution for cooling, I would not recommend it.

  • What can I say, be quiet guarantees (after Noctua which is damn expensive). You buy it without a second thought

  • Excellent fan for around €10.
