The Yato YT-2824 electrician’s screwdriver has a flat tip and is suitable for work on low-voltage installations up to 1 kV. Its VDE insulation is designed for working on live electrical installations or equipment up to 1000 V and protects against electric shock. The handle features a non-slip surface with a micro-textured outer layer and special protrusions.

The blade is made of S2 steel and has a hardness of HRC 56–60. The tool has been tested by a laboratory accredited by the German VDE institute and meets the requirements of the EN 60900 standard. The insulation also helps protect plastic materials and non-ferrous metals, such as copper, brass and aluminium, from accidental scratches.
