Chestnut honey is dark-colored, with a slightly "bittersweet" taste. It is collected in the autumn season from the fruit-bearing chestnut trees that thrive in the unique Athonite landscape in Halkidiki.

It is famous for its rich nutritional components and can rightly be considered a true nectar.
