Excellent performance, very fast, consistent measurements. I wanted a thermometer that measures quickly but is also safe (mercury unfortunately has a degree of danger if it breaks). In order to get used to it, I made repeated measurements compared to a mercury thermometer (which is the most stable and reliable for me). So I saw what the deviation of the digital thermometer is compared to mercury, whether measuring on the forehead or in the ear, and then I confirmed that the measurements had this consistent deviation in each measurement. So I trust it, and I adjust the measurement by calculating the deviation from mercury (e.g. about 0.2 lower when measuring in the ear). As with all thermometers, the measurement varies depending on the body part.

Purchased for measuring temperature on a baby and that's why I decided to go for a reliable brand. It has 2 functions. Either you slide it along the forehead (with contact) or with the small nozzle in the ear.

Unfortunately, there are many discrepancies in temperature and you don't know if you should trust the forehead or the ear. Theoretically, the ear is more reliable, but it showed us a normal temperature while it was obvious that the baby had a fever, as we confirmed with a classic armpit thermometer.

Also... It's a shame that it doesn't have a backlit screen at night so you don't have to turn on a light?

It's a pity, it's not worth its money compared to other cheaper options

    Bad experience, inaccuracy in measurements. One measurement 36, the next 37, the next 37.5, and the immediately following 36.6... in the same spot with a steady hand... I do not recommend it, be careful!

    While it appears sturdy and of good quality construction, its measurements do not correspond to reality. Rarely does it show the correct temperature.
    The only measurements that seem to be accurate are surface temperature measurements, which are not what you need it for.
    I was forced to get another one that, despite looking "cheaply made," is quite reliable so far.

    Good construction... I simply didn't have a good experience with it... I bought it and it gave wrong measurements on the forehead, it was really all over the place... I exchanged it once as they themselves realized it was faulty... They sent me a new one and again, the measurement on the ear always shows 36.6, it never changes... And the measurement on the forehead is so-so, not very accurate... However, because I have 2 children, I bought it for accuracy and reliability, which it definitely did not provide me with... and compared to its price, it was simply disappointing... Maybe I just got unlucky, I don't know... but I ended up being forced to buy something else in the end...
