Description

The VPRO 26 Ah series batteries are manufactured with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) VRLA technology and are mainly intended for use in emergency power supply systems (UPS), solar installations, and voltage converters.

They work best in buffer charging systems but can also be used in applications where the batteries operate cyclically. For a depth of discharge of up to 50%, they have approximately 650 operating cycles. The designed lifespan is 8-10 years for operation at a temperature of about 20-25 degrees Celsius.

AGM VRLA batteries are characterized by an internal structure based on fiberglass separators in which the electrolyte is concentrated. The separators are placed between lead plates inside the battery's energy storage tank. An additional feature of this type of battery is that they have an automatic sealing system (pressure valves - Valve Regulated).

The valves open when excessive pressure is detected inside the battery, safely venting the resulting gas outside the casing, preventing damage. This condition occurs most often when the battery is overcharged. The battery casing is made of ABS material and the cells are made of copper.
