Someone could say that this game is a mediocre copy of RE2. It starts off nicely but quickly becomes tiresome. Awful combat, you get confused with the weapons and generally it just doesn't... However, I don't rule out that some people might like it, but only go for it if you find it for under 20 euros.

It's one of those games that, while not very good, is enjoyable due to the atmosphere and the story. It has quite nice (not super duper) graphics in the environments and decent character models and animation. The graphics are NOT PS3 (honestly, some of you have Alzheimer's), the reason they say this is because the brown color predominates, which was characteristic of games from that generation. I should note that the game is NOT horror; it is mainly an adventure game like Sherlock Holmes with horror elements. The combat (and stealth) is terrible but fortunately easy on normal (and super easy on easy), so it won't frustrate you. The puzzles are simple and cute, with the exception of one (a safe code) which is the dumbest thing I've seen. Overall, the game in terms of its mechanics is very old-fashioned (we're talking about the PS2 era). I got it for 42 euros from the PS Store and I don't regret it because I wanted to support it, but I wouldn't recommend it to most players (especially with salaries in Greece) for more than 30-35 euros. It's not a 4-star game, but I gave it 1 extra star because it has value at a good price

It must drop below €30 to be worth its money. Overall, it is a pleasant little game that depending on the difficulty level you play it will give you a corresponding experience. It has easy puzzles and opponents. It is not expected to be replayed once completed. Get it without thinking it will be the game that will captivate you.

Initially as a big fan of the horror scene I couldn't not play this historic title. The truth is I never expected this remake to be a masterpiece, but not so disappointing either.
The graphics are at a PS3 level, the gameplay and game mechanics remind of PS2 times (come on guys, the map shouldn't open with the middle button pressed. Find something smarter and faster - sorry I wanted to get it out of my system). The battles are absolutely uninteresting and especially with this battle system it's a hassle. The game froze on me 2-3 times and I had to restart it. It's also quite short with little replay value. Finally, it's not that scary, but more detective-like.
Alone in the Dark 2024 is a game with many flaws, but at least it's never boring. The first playthrough is fun despite its problems, exploring Derceto is rewarding, even with the simplistic puzzles. The second playthrough is where it becomes clear that there isn't much to the game.
At best, it's an incredibly basic and simple "horror" game that is stuck in the past. For me, its price is unrealistic. It's not worth 50 euros for any reason. If it drops to 20 then maybe.
Αρχικά ως μεγάλος φαν της horror σκηνής δεν θα μπορούσα να μην παίξω αυτόν τον ιστορικό τίτλο. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν περίμενα ποτέ ότι αυτό το remake θα ήταν κάτι το αριστουργηματικό, αλλά όχι και τόσο απογοητευτικό.
Τα γραφικά είναι επιπέδου PS3, το gameplay και τα game mechanics θυμίζουν εποχές PS2(ρε παιδιά δεν γίνεται ο χάρτης να ανοίγει με πατημένο το μεσαίο κουμπί. Βρείτε κάτι πιο έξυπνο και γρήγορο - sorry ήθελα να το βγάλω από μέσα μου). Οι μαχες δεν έχουν κανένα απολύτως ενδιαφέρον και ειδικά με αυτό το σύστημα μάχης είναι μια ταλαιπωρία. 2-3 φορές μου κόλλησε το παιχνίδι και αναγκάστηκα να το ξανά ξεκινήσω. Επίσης είναι αρκετά σύντομο με μικρό replay value. Τέλος δεν είναι και τόσο τρομακτικό, αλλά πιο πολύ ντετεκτιβικο.
Το Alone in the Dark του 2024 είναι ένα παιχνίδι με πολλά ελαττώματα, αλλά τουλάχιστον δεν είναι ποτέ βαρετό. Το πρώτο playthrough είναι διασκεδαστικό παρά τα προβλήματα του, η εξερεύνηση του Derceto ανταμείβει, ακόμα και με τους απλοϊκούς γρίφους. Το δεύτερο playthrough είναι το σημείο όπου γίνεται φανερό ότι δεν υπάρχουν πολλά στο παιχνίδι.
Στην καλύτερη περίπτωση, είναι ένα απίστευτα βασικό και απλό παιχνίδι «τρόμου» που έχει κολλήσει στο παρελθόν. Για μένα η τιμή του είναι εξωπραγματική. Δεν αξίζουν τα 50 ευρώ για κανένα λόγο. Αν πέσει στα 20 τότε μάλιστα.
A very good choice for a horror game in 2024. It definitely has its weaknesses with bugs and slightly clumsy gameplay, but its atmosphere is unique. Many times I found myself stopping the game for a while and staring at the scenery. Recommended 100% for fans of the genre.

Very good game in terms of atmosphere and graphics, the only thing that bothered me is the gameplay, I consider it a bit outdated. And one last thing, it had a lot of bugs, I had to start it 2-3 times from the beginning to play properly......!!!!

Αρχικά ως μεγάλος φαν της horror σκηνής δεν θα μπορούσα να μην παίξω αυτόν τον ιστορικό τίτλο. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν περίμενα ποτέ ότι αυτό το remake θα ήταν κάτι το αριστουργηματικό, αλλά όχι και τόσο απογοητευτικό.
Τα γραφικά είναι επιπέδου PS3, το gameplay και τα game mechanics θυμίζουν εποχές PS2(ρε παιδιά δεν γίνεται ο χάρτης να ανοίγει με πατημένο το μεσαίο κουμπί. Βρείτε κάτι πιο έξυπνο και γρήγορο - sorry ήθελα να το βγάλω από μέσα μου). Οι μαχες δεν έχουν κανένα απολύτως ενδιαφέρον και ειδικά με αυτό το σύστημα μάχης είναι μια ταλαιπωρία. 2-3 φορές μου κόλλησε το παιχνίδι και αναγκάστηκα να το ξανά ξεκινήσω. Επίσης είναι αρκετά σύντομο με μικρό replay value. Τέλος δεν είναι και τόσο τρομακτικό, αλλά πιο πολύ ντετεκτιβικο.
Το Alone in the Dark του 2024 είναι ένα παιχνίδι με πολλά ελαττώματα, αλλά τουλάχιστον δεν είναι ποτέ βαρετό. Το πρώτο playthrough είναι διασκεδαστικό παρά τα προβλήματα του, η εξερεύνηση του Derceto ανταμείβει, ακόμα και με τους απλοϊκούς γρίφους. Το δεύτερο playthrough είναι το σημείο όπου γίνεται φανερό ότι δεν υπάρχουν πολλά στο παιχνίδι.
Στην καλύτερη περίπτωση, είναι ένα απίστευτα βασικό και απλό παιχνίδι «τρόμου» που έχει κολλήσει στο παρελθόν. Για μένα η τιμή του είναι εξωπραγματική. Δεν αξίζουν τα 50 ευρώ για κανένα λόγο. Αν πέσει στα 20 τότε μάλιστα.
A very good choice for a horror game in 2024. It definitely has its weaknesses with bugs and slightly clumsy gameplay, but its atmosphere is unique. Many times I found myself stopping the game for a while and staring at the scenery. Recommended 100% for fans of the genre.
Μια πολύ καλή επιλογή για horror παιχνίδι στο 2024.Σιγουρα έχει τις αδυναμίες του από bugs και λίγο "ατσουμπαλο" gameplay αλλά η ατμόσφαιρα του είναι μοναδική.Πολλες φορές έπιασα τον εαυτό μου να σταματάω για λίγο το παιχνίδι και να χαζεύω το τοπίο.Προτεινεται 100% για τους λάτρεις του είδους.
Very good game in terms of atmosphere and graphics, the only thing that bothered me is the gameplay, I consider it a bit outdated. And one last thing, it had a lot of bugs, I had to start it 2-3 times from the beginning to play properly......!!!!
πολύ καλό παιχνίδι από θέμα ατμόσφαιρας και γραφικών το μόνο που με χάλασε είναι το gameplay το θεωρώ λίγο παλιομοδιτικο. και κάτι τελευταίο εμένα είχε πολύ bugs έπρεπε να το ξεκινήσω 2-3 φορές από την αρχή για να παίξω κανονικά......!!!!

it's not New Nightmare, which I consider the best Alone in the Dark. it's an average remake of the first one. it's not horror. up to €20 it's decent.

Someone could say that this game is a mediocre copy of RE2. It starts off nicely but quickly becomes tiresome. Awful combat, you get confused with the weapons and generally it just doesn't... However, I don't rule out that some people might like it, but only go for it if you find it for under 20 euros.
Mια μέτρια αντιγραφή του resi 2 θα μπορουσε να πει καποιος οτι ειναι αυτο το παιχνιδι. Στην αρχη ξεκιναει ωραια αλλα γρηγορα κουραζει. Αθλιες μαχες, μπερδευεσαι με τα οπλα και γενικα δεν....Δεν αποκλειω ομως οτι σε καποιους μπορει και να αρεσει αλλα πονταρετε μονο αν το βρειτε κατω απο 20 ευρω.
A nice and pleasant game, good graphics, by no means like some people say about PS3. The combat system is a bit bad but at the price of €25 to €30 that it now costs, it's worth it

If someone is a dinosaur like me and is looking for a continuation from the first trilogy of games, they won't find it here. However, it is a nice noir with Cthulhu-themed elements. The combat is a bit grumpy, but the game's visuals will reward you.
Αν κάποιος είναι δεινόσαυρος σαν και εμένα και αναζητά μια συνέχεια από την πρώτη τριλογία των παιχνιδιών δεν θα την βρει εδώ. Όμως είναι ένα ωραίο noir με chtullική θεματολογία. Η μάχη είναι λίγο δύστροπη, όπως το εικαστικό του παιχνιδιού θα σας ανταμείψει.
It's one of those games that, while not very good, is enjoyable due to the atmosphere and the story. It has quite nice (not super duper) graphics in the environments and decent character models and animation. The graphics are NOT PS3 (honestly, some of you have Alzheimer's), the reason they say this is because the brown color predominates, which was characteristic of games from that generation. I should note that the game is NOT horror; it is mainly an adventure game like Sherlock Holmes with horror elements. The combat (and stealth) is terrible but fortunately easy on normal (and super easy on easy), so it won't frustrate you. The puzzles are simple and cute, with the exception of one (a safe code) which is the dumbest thing I've seen. Overall, the game in terms of its mechanics is very old-fashioned (we're talking about the PS2 era). I got it for 42 euros from the PS Store and I don't regret it because I wanted to support it, but I wouldn't recommend it to most players (especially with salaries in Greece) for more than 30-35 euros. It's not a 4-star game, but I gave it 1 extra star because it has value at a good price
Είναι από αυτά τα παιχνίδια που, ναι μεν δεν ειναι πολυ καλό, αλλά περνάς ωραία, λόγω της ατμόσφαιρας και της ιστορίας. Έχει αρκετά ωραία (οχι σουπερ ντουπερ) γραφικά στα σκηνικά και καλούτσικα character models και animation, Τα γραφικά ΔΕΝ είναι PS3 (ειλικρινά έχετε αλτχάιμερ κάποιοι), ο λόγος που το λένε αυτό είναι γιατί επικρατεί αρκετά το καφέ χρώμα, το οποίο ήταν χαρακτηριστικό των παιχνιδιών εκείνης της γενιάς. Να σημειώσω ότι το παιχνίδι ΔΕΝ είναι horror, είναι κυρίως adventure game τύπου Sherlock Holmes με horror στοιχεία. Η μάχη (και το stealth) είναι άθλια αλλά ευτυχώς εύκολη στο normal (και πανεύκολη στο easy), οπότε δε θα σας εκνευρίσει. Οι γρίφοι είναι απλούτσικοι και χαριτωμένοι, με εξαίρεση έναν (έναν κωδικό χρηματοκιβώτιου) που είναι ότι πιο ηλίθιο έχω δει. Σε γενικές γραμμές. το παιχνίδι όσον αφορά τα mechanics του είναι πάρα πολύ παλαιομοδίτικο (μιλάμε για εποχή PS2). Το πήρα 42 ευρώ από το PS Store και δε το μετάνιωσα γιατί ήθελα να το στηρίξω, αλλά δε θα το πρότεινα στους περισσότερους παίκτες (ειδικά με τους μισθούς στην Ελλάδα) για πάνω από 30-35 ευρώ. Δεν είναι για 4 αστέρια, αλλά του έδωσα 1 παραπάνω γιατί έχει αξία σε καλή τιμή
