The "Memoirs" dictated by Kolokotronis to G. Tertsetis stand out as a relic of speech, patriotism, observance, simplicity, liveliness, and pure popular wisdom.

Yet the state ignores them. It has never "thought" to ignite the minds and hearts of the youth by including them in our schools as one of the essential readings.
