The "Constantine G. Karamanlis" Foundation organized and hosted a two-day international academic conference titled "The Founders of European Integration" on March 27 and 28, 2012. Participants included representatives from five corresponding institutions, namely, "Jean Monnet pour I'Europe," "Robert Schuman," "Konrad Adenauer Stiftung," "Alcide de Gasperi," and "Paul-Henri Spaak," as well as the "Constantine G. Karamanlis Foundation."

The central theme of the meeting was the vision and strategy of the founders of the new Europe after World War II, as they managed to overcome longstanding national rivalries in order to build a united Europe, which is one of the greatest contemporary achievements globally.

The "Constantin G. Caramanlis" Foundation organized at its headquarters, on March 27 and 28, 2012, an international scientific conference titled "The Founders of European Integration," with the participation of representatives from five similar European institutions: "Jean Monnet pour I'Europe," "Robert Schuman," "Konrad Adenauer Stiftung," "Alcide de Gasperi," "Paul-Henri Spaak," as well as the "Constantin G. The conference focused on the vision and strategy of the founders of the new Europe, who, after World War II, succeeded in overcoming centuries-old national antagonisms and in constructing a United Europe, which constitutes a remarkable achievement of our time.
