The Fein AMM 500 Plus oscillating multi-tool runs on two 18 V lithium-ion batteries, each with a capacity of 4 Ah. It is used for cutting and sanding wood and metal, as well as for sanding, grinding, carving and engraving wood, metal and plasterboard. The speed is electronically adjustable up to 18,500 rpm, and the oscillation angle is 7°.

The brushless motor works with the AMPShare 18 V battery system and is compatible with AMPShare and Bosch Professional 18 V batteries. The StarlockPlus tool mount transfers power without losses, while the anti-vibration system reduces vibration and the QuickIN clamping system allows tool-free accessory changes in under 3 seconds. The metal gears are designed to withstand heavy loads, and the tool can be connected to a dust extraction attachment.
