    Displacement (measured in cubic centimeters - cc) is essentially the size and power of the engine of a petrol-powered chainsaw.

  • Bar Length

    The bar length is the maximum thickness of wood you can cut in a single pass. It is measured in centimeters (cm).


    - Longer bar = Cutting thicker logs. It allows you to handle larger trees.

    - Shorter bar = Better control and safety. It is more flexible, lighter, and ideal for pruning, as it reduces the risk of "kickback".


    The bar should always be proportional to the power of the engine. A small engine cannot effectively support a huge bar.

    One word for you guys: stay away from Husqvarna. This particular one worked professionally for 2 years, 2 weeks after the warranty expired and I was left with a machine with 300 euros damage, and if I ever get Husqvarna again..
