The compact 600W surface pump 3000/4 from GARDENA is an ideal basic model and can be used for multiple applications.

Thanks to its high suction power and pressure performance, the pump is perfect for:

  • Watering
  • Increasing pressure
  • Transferring or pumping tap water, rainwater, or chlorinated pool water

It is lightweight, durable, and easy to use. It features a large opening for easier filling before its initial operation and an ergonomic handle for easy transport.

The rubber base ensures stable support as well as silent and shockproof operation. To protect against frost, the surface pump is equipped with a drainage screw for emptying residual water.

GARDENA relies exclusively on high-quality materials for the long lifespan of its products. The ceramic protection and the double sealing system between the motor and the suction impeller ensure safe operation.

A thermal protection switch protects the motor from overload.

    For a garden with 50 trees and just as many shrubs and potted plants, it used to take me over 1 1/2 hours with a 30-meter hose on a regular faucet in Athens. I would often have to water deeply within half an hour. UNBELIEVABLE!!! When I closed the machine and the normal water pressure ran, the difference seemed ridiculous.

    For a regular faucet, you need 100% two (preferably metal) 1" connectors with threads to attach to the machine (and then the hoses with 1/2" connectors attach to them), two pieces of 1/2" hose (preferably flexible), and 4 1/2" connectors. You also need a hose to connect the machine to the faucet and another one to connect it to the hose reel. In my case, I needed two 5-meter pieces to reach the power outlet. Otherwise, you only need one piece of hose with two connectors for the faucet, and then you attach your hose to the machine. However, the hose reel with a 30 or 50-meter hose is a lifesaver; it just requires another piece of hose with two connectors to connect it to the faucet.

    Be careful to always fill the water inlet with at least one bottle of water and empty it when you're done.

    I truly wonder why I didn't get this years earlier and wasted time and had inadequate watering. Every amateur gardener will love it. Personally, I was lucky and got it in its original box at an unclaimed store. 95€ is a small price for what it offers.
