To avoid leaks at the spout where the black nozzle screws on, we take a white Teflon tape used by plumbers and wrap it 3 to 4 times around the threads of the container clockwise, so that when we screw on the nozzle it seals completely and we don't have a drop of fuel leaking during the transfer... and we leave the Teflon on permanently as a body on the threads... have good, leak-free transfers!!!
