Coming from an i5 8600K (at 4.7GHz oc) which would reach temperatures of around 90 degrees in heavy games, I expected similar temperatures from the i5 13600KF. On the contrary, during a stress test (for 15 minutes), it did not exceed 75 degrees. In games, I see even lower temperatures since it is a beast and doesn't struggle at all. Was the upgrade worth it? The difference is chaotic! It is cooled by a Dark Rock 4 and I am completely satisfied. It was combined with an ASUS Prime A Z690 and Corsair Vengeance 32GB 5600mhz RAM. Overall, it requires good cooling, otherwise you will experience throttling, and a good power supply. The max TDP under full load was 181 watts.

I am very satisfied coming from a 9700k and finally stepping up to the 6900xt.
Now to the basics:
4k gaming up to 6-7 hours did not exceed 47-48 degrees, except in some games that use the CPU.
I would recommend UV or manual voltage, as the default 1.35 is too high. With 1.20mv, it reached 5.5ghz, but I left it at 5.1 with the default max turbo at 1.163mv. There's no logical reason to go higher for gaming, as the difference is only 2-3 fps from 5.7ghz or not at all.
Overall, the 4k gaming hype is just a marketing ploy, and there's no reason or benefit to spend money on a 13900k for 4k and such. Plus, someone would have to put their PC in the fridge to play.

Παρα σε καποιες εξαιρεσεις σε games που usaran cpu.
Θα συμβουλευα uv η manual voltage,το 1.35 default ειναι τραγι και ελαφι μαζι,με 1.20mv σηκωθηκε 5.5ghz παρολαυτα τον αφησα 5.1 στο default max του tourbo με 1.163mv απλα δεν εχει καμια λογικη για πιο πανω oc για gaming η διαφορα ειναι 2-3 fps απο 5.7ghz η και καθολου.
Γενικα πολυ promo η υποθεση 4k gaming του στυλ 13900κ αναγκαστικα για 4k και λοιπα προς θεου μη πετατε λεφτα δεν υπαρχει κανενας λογος η κερδος
συν του οτι θα πρεπει να βαλει το πισι στο ψυγειο καποιος για να παιξει.

Coming from the I5 9600K, I can say that the difference is chaotic. I had gifted myself the AMD 6750XT graphics card and noticed that I was experiencing crazy bottlenecking. To give you an idea, in the unique valley benchmark, with the AMD 6750XT and the I5 9600K, I got a score of 6200. While with the I5 13600KF, I got a result of 11400! We're talking almost 100% more. I was truly amazed.
If I had to mention a downside, it would definitely be the temperatures. In cinebench, it reached 110 degrees Celsius! I was really scared and stopped it immediately. Note that I have a watercooling Arctic Cooler 420. In games, it went up to 80 and 85.
Just set the v-core to 1.25 or less depending on the processor. With 1.22 v-core, I get the same performance and temperatures in games are 60-65 and in cinebench, a maximum of 80.
It's essentially a 6-core processor, but a tremendously powerful one. The other cores are virtual. It's great for both games and heavy programs.
I recommend it, but be careful. You need a relatively good cooler and power supply. It's power-hungry.

Προερχομενος απο τον I5 9600K μπορω να πω οτι η διαφορα ειναι χαοτικη. Ειχα κανει δωρο στον εαυτο μου την καρτα γραφικων AMD 6750XT και παρατηρησα οτι τελικα τρωω τρελο bottle neck. Για να φαταστειτε στο bechmark unique valley, με την AMD 6750XT και τον Ι5 9600Κ μου εδωσε score 6200. Ενω με τον I5 13600KF μου εδωσε αποτελεσμα 11400! Μιλαμε για σχεδον 100% πανω. Πραγματικα επαθα την πλακα μου.
Αν θα εβαζα κατι μειον; Εμμ σιγουρα οι θερμοκρασιες. Μιλαμε σε cinebench μου εφτασε στους 110 βαθμους κελσιου! Πραγματικα φοβηθηκα και το σταματησα αμεσως. Να σημειωσω οτι εχω watercoolling acrict cooler 420. Σε παιχνιδια πηγαινε μεχρι 80 και 85.
Απλα βαλτε v-core 1,25 η και λιγοτερο αναλογος τον καθε επεξεργαστη. Εγω με 1,22 v-core πλεον αποδοση ιδια και θερμοκρασιες σε games 60-65 και σε cinebench 80 μαξ.
Ειναι ενας επεξεργαστης ουσιαστικα 6πυρινος αλλα ειναι ενας τρομερα δυνατος 6 πυρινος. Οι αλλοι πυρινες ειναι εικονικοι. Κανει και για games αλλα και για programms βαρια.
Προτημιστε τον αλλα προσεξτε. Πρεπει να εχετε σχετικα καλη ψυκτρα και καλο τροφοδοτικο. Ψοφαει για ρευμα.

4k gaming up to 6-7 hours did not exceed 47-48 degrees, except in some games that use the CPU.
I would recommend UV or manual voltage, as the default 1.35 is too high. With 1.20mv, it reached 5.5ghz, but I left it at 5.1 with the default max turbo at 1.163mv. There's no logical reason to go higher for gaming, as the difference is only 2-3 fps from 5.7ghz or not at all.
Overall, the 4k gaming hype is just a marketing ploy, and there's no reason or benefit to spend money on a 13900k for 4k and such. Plus, someone would have to put their PC in the fridge to play.

Γενικα πολυ promo η υποθεση 4k gaming του στυλ 13900κ αναγκαστικα για 4k και λοιπα προς θεου μη πετατε λεφτα δεν υπαρχει κανενας λογος η κερδος
συν του οτι θα πρεπει να βαλει το πισι στο ψυγειο καποιος για να παιξει.

Coming from the I5 9600K, I can say that the difference is chaotic. I had gifted myself the AMD 6750XT graphics card and noticed that I was experiencing crazy bottlenecking. To give you an idea, in the unique valley benchmark, with the AMD 6750XT and the I5 9600K, I got a score of 6200. While with the I5 13600KF, I got a result of 11400! We're talking almost 100% more. I was truly amazed.
If I had to mention a downside, it would definitely be the temperatures. In cinebench, it reached 110 degrees Celsius! I was really scared and stopped it immediately. Note that I have a watercooling Arctic Cooler 420. In games, it went up to 80 and 85.
Just set the v-core to 1.25 or less depending on the processor. With 1.22 v-core, I get the same performance and temperatures in games are 60-65 and in cinebench, a maximum of 80.
It's essentially a 6-core processor, but a tremendously powerful one. The other cores are virtual. It's great for both games and heavy programs.
I recommend it, but be careful. You need a relatively good cooler and power supply. It's power-hungry.
If I had to describe it in one word? M O N S T E R And the price is really good.
Προερχομενος απο τον I5 9600K μπορω να πω οτι η διαφορα ειναι χαοτικη. Ειχα κανει δωρο στον εαυτο μου την καρτα γραφικων AMD 6750XT και παρατηρησα οτι τελικα τρωω τρελο bottle neck. Για να φαταστειτε στο bechmark unique valley, με την AMD 6750XT και τον Ι5 9600Κ μου εδωσε score 6200. Ενω με τον I5 13600KF μου εδωσε αποτελεσμα 11400! Μιλαμε για σχεδον 100% πανω. Πραγματικα επαθα την πλακα μου.
Αν θα εβαζα κατι μειον; Εμμ σιγουρα οι θερμοκρασιες. Μιλαμε σε cinebench μου εφτασε στους 110 βαθμους κελσιου! Πραγματικα φοβηθηκα και το σταματησα αμεσως. Να σημειωσω οτι εχω watercoolling acrict cooler 420. Σε παιχνιδια πηγαινε μεχρι 80 και 85.
Απλα βαλτε v-core 1,25 η και λιγοτερο αναλογος τον καθε επεξεργαστη. Εγω με 1,22 v-core πλεον αποδοση ιδια και θερμοκρασιες σε games 60-65 και σε cinebench 80 μαξ.
Ειναι ενας επεξεργαστης ουσιαστικα 6πυρινος αλλα ειναι ενας τρομερα δυνατος 6 πυρινος. Οι αλλοι πυρινες ειναι εικονικοι. Κανει και για games αλλα και για programms βαρια.
Προτημιστε τον αλλα προσεξτε. Πρεπει να εχετε σχετικα καλη ψυκτρα και καλο τροφοδοτικο. Ψοφαει για ρευμα.

Coming from an i5 8600K (at 4.7GHz oc) which would reach temperatures of around 90 degrees in heavy games, I expected similar temperatures from the i5 13600KF. On the contrary, during a stress test (for 15 minutes), it did not exceed 75 degrees. In games, I see even lower temperatures since it is a beast and doesn't struggle at all. Was the upgrade worth it? The difference is chaotic! It is cooled by a Dark Rock 4 and I am completely satisfied. It was combined with an ASUS Prime A Z690 and Corsair Vengeance 32GB 5600mhz RAM. Overall, it requires good cooling, otherwise you will experience throttling, and a good power supply. The max TDP under full load was 181 watts.
Προερχόμενος από i5 8600K (Στα 4.7GHZ oc) ο οποίος βάραγε και 90αρια σε βαριά games περίμενα ίδιες θερμοκρασίες και από τον i5 13600KF.
Αντιθέτως σε stress test (για 15’) δεν ξεπέρασε τους 75 βαθμούς. Στα games βλέπω και πιο χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες αφού είναι τέρας και δεν ζορίζεται καν.
Αν άξιζε η αναβάθμιση ;

Ψύχεται από μια Dark Rock 4 και είμαι απολύτως ικανοποιημένος.
Συνδυάστηκε με ASUS Prime A Z690 και Ram Corsair Vengeance 32GB 5600mhz.
Γενικά θέλει καλή ψύξη αλλιώς θα έχετε throttle και καλό τροφοδοτικό.
Max TDP σε full load ήταν 181 watt.
Very powerful CPU,
The only negative is the temperatures it reaches.
With Pure Loop 2 FX 280mm, it experienced Thermal Throttling during Production (rendering).
In Gaming, it performs at decent levels, with a maximum temperature of 82 degrees in CyberPunk 2077.
It is paired with the RTX 4070ti Tuf gaming from Asus and installed on the B760 motherboard (Asus' premium model).
The reason for the -1 star is that you need to spend at least 100-150€ on cooling to unleash its full potential, and in this case, there are better options in the price range of 450-500€ that come with cooling

Ο λογος για το -1 Αστέρι ειναι οτι πρεπει να ρήξεις τουλαχιστον 100-150€ σε ψυξη για να αναδηξεις ολο το potensial του που σε αυτη την περίπτωση υπάρχουν και καλύτερες επιλογες στο price Range των 450-500€ που βγαινει η σούμα μαζι με την ψυξη
I combined it with 6000mhz c30 RAM and Asus' 280mm liquid cooling. Temperatures are fine with liquid cooling, up to 65°C while gaming, up to 85°C during stress tests at 1.4v... I will try to lower the vcore because it is simply too high.
edit: After half a year, at 1.24v undervolt which I unlocked thanks to the motherboard that supports having older microcode, it doesn't exceed 50°C while gaming and 70°C at max load.

edit: μετά από μισό χρόνο. σε 1.24v undervolt το οποίο ξεμπλοκαρα χάρη στην motherboard που υποστηρίζει να έχεις παλιότερο microcode, δεν ξεπερνά τους 50c gaming και 70c max load.
