In Champions Mode, you will have the opportunity to race against 6 former world champions. And no, they won't let you win, you have to give it your all.

KERS & DRS: Plan your attack and keep your opponents behind you with the KERS & DRS systems. The Kinetic Energy Recovery System will store the energy generated from braking to accelerate faster the next time you hit the gas pedal, while the Drag Reduction System will allow you to overtake more easily with a better & lower center of gravity during braking.
