Description

The Power Electronics PT428-8 industrial starter is used in automation systems to start three-phase asynchronous motors with a star-delta connection. It provides contacts for directly energizing the star, delta and main relays, as well as for connecting the start and stop push buttons and the automatic operation switch, replacing the electrical starting control circuit. After the start command, it switches from star to delta with an adjustable delay and an intermediate transition time that prevents magnetic coupling and the simultaneous energizing of the power relays.
