The country's immigration issue is expected to intensify, and its consequences will become more burdensome for Greek society, with implications for public order, national security, and social cohesion.

Implementing such a policy would mean that the country would not be a 'no man's land', nor would it reward illegality with retroactive legalization. On the contrary, the immigrants who would be in the country would meet real and lasting needs of the economy and the labor market that could not be met by Greeks or EU citizens and would have come and settled in our country after screening and selection.
Only then would the Greeks be receptive to immigrants, and their integration would be feasible. The culmination of proven integration would be the acquisition of citizenship by immigrants. The parameters of such an immigration policy are presented and analyzed in this book.
