The active Axagon RVC-HI2 adapter connects a device with a USB-C port to a monitor, TV or projector with an HDMI input, transmitting video and audio. It supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz, HDR10 and audio up to 8 channels at 96 kHz/24-bit. The source device’s USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode.

It supports mirroring or extending the desktop, while the HPD function detects when a device is connected or disconnected. It is powered via the USB-C port and requires no external power supply. The cable is 25 cm long, has a nylon braid and features nickel-plated connectors with gold-plated contacts.

    Verified purchase

    Tested on a computer with a 2K resolution and 60Hz. After some time, the signal on the screen stops (goes black) for 3-4 seconds and then comes back. This happens at random intervals. I noticed it gets quite hot, so I added a heatsink. The problem improved quite a bit, but it was never completely eliminated. I replaced it with a similar product from another company and I have no such issues. I am not satisfied with the purchase.
