The lid is fixed to the main body and has no metal parts, protecting hands from hot surfaces. A special system drains condensation into a collector at the back of the appliance. The lid incorporates a fan and heating element, as well as a removable safety cover for pressure cooking. Depending on the cooking method, the cover can be removed or fitted to protect the electrical components from excessive splashes and spills. The lid opens, locks and unlocks with a handle that automatically locks the appliance during pressure cooking.
