The image is very good (not perfect) with enough sharpness to see details at a great distance, but there is a slight chromatic aberration in the edges, especially when the available light is intense. The lens diameter ensures a wide field of view and good light diffusion even in low light conditions. Especially in low light conditions, I would say they are comparable to much more expensive binoculars.
