Very good, it does the job for which I bought it. It detects the 5GHz and connects even though the router is in another room.

Unfortunately, I threw away the packaging and can't return it.

It doesn't see my mobile's wifi hotspot at 5ghz.

I spent many hours going into technical forums and applying all possible solutions.
    - I tried the latest official driver as well as 4 others that were suggested.
    - I tried changing advanced settings for each driver. For example, changing the wireless mode from auto to ac only, etc.
    - I plugged it into 3 different ports.

Nothing worked. It only sees 2.4ghz.

The likely cause of the problem is that it probably doesn't detect some channels at 5ghz. If you have a router, you can change the channels (channel 40 for example). However, if you want to get internet from your mobile, you can't play with different channels on your mobile.

    Waste of money.

I bought another adapter, the ugreen AC650, and it sees/connects normally to my mobile's wifi hotspot. I just haven't had time to check for disconnections.
